I think both bands great, I was a teen in the 90's so 90's nirvana was a huge influence. Then someone told me back in the day there s a nirvana from the 60's

If I has to think witch one of the nirvanas could use the name it would be this one. Reason? In my opinion nirvana is more this kind of music rather, than angry or angst. I love both bands and USA version a litle bit more but this one really deserves all credit.

Aside from that I don't feel I said anything offensive, certainly nothing to provoke condescending advice about the concept of opinions. I'm no expert on music or either Nirvanas, but as I understand it Cobain was overly angst-ridden and generally stuck to a conventional instrument set up, while the 60's guys explored broader perspective on life and experimented very effectively with different styles and topics.

Had you actually taken the time to look up some of the REAL Nirvana's music then you'd see that Kurt was by far a superiour musician and songwriter. He also didn't stick with the "convential instrument set up" as you put it, All Apologies, Dumb etc used violins and cellos. And are also a million miles away from Smells Like Teen Spirit.
