That would be possible if it were not for one slight problem that throws a monkey wrench into your theory. The Mayan calendar doesn't count up like ours does and others have. But rather, their calendar started at a high number and counts down to zero. Scholars whom have deciphered it & know how to read it, calculated that 0 on the Mayan calendar is Dec. 21, 2012
