@spurrit This video was edited for length and some repetative parts (such as rasping) were cut down. The entire process took much more than seven minutes but most viewers don't like to watch longer videos.
@spurrit Usually burning is used to mark where to rasp in relation to the shoe, not out of laziness. Rasping smooth is not the same as getting good purchase.
the shoe is too small.. basicly it isnt a great job because its just too small like a human walking around with shoes too smalll its not the best.. also i would use a groover when clenching up on a foot and shoe this size.. but yes the basics are ther.. and everybody is taught differntly and have differnt standuards..
Why am I watching how to make shoes for horses? no idea :D, good guide I guess

I'm talking about half assing the rasping and relying on the burn to fix it all. Get it perfect, burn, inspect, final fit, apply shoe.

Using the burning on process to knock down high spots is just lazy. rasp it smooth.

Most people don't use a clinch gouge. Or clinch cutters. We all have one or two, but we generally just rasp them off.
Shoe is definitely too small.

@llloydy1 He doesn't make the shoes himself; he purchases them with his other supplies.

Artist??? This was a mediocre job of shoeing at best. First of all the shoe was a size to small.

Looks like you missed the inside heel. No clinch gouge? No burning or cutting in the toe clip?

@SuperDangalang Some of the video was edited for length. It was a complete job.
