These ladies are amazing, local Portland talent. I've seen them in Portland and saw them perform this live. Young, amazing talent. The vibe their music ushers in is of another time, and so ancient and eclectic. Also, I kind of wish I was Matty Groves when they sing this song.

@Glinteye Nah, I'm not a huge Fairport fan. In fact, I've never even heard their version. Joanie B does a nice version, but it's all, Joanified, if you can stomach that.

i hate to dismiss her band, but I saw Alela and Alina, just the pair of them at the Philadelphia Folk Festival. And the two of them were magical. And this EP just reinforces what I thought, they just have something great as a pair that they lose with the band
