Hiya, and thanks. Yes, Bh6 is crushing - and because white is winning a lot of material. Black's only move to avoid mate is Rf8 (the threat from white being Nf6 and g7) to which white can respond in a number of winning ways, the best being Rd1, followed by black playing Be6 and then Re1from white for a winning advantage; well over four pawns. Hope this helps!
A bit clearer it is , thanks Sean . I got as far as calculating that white might win the exchange after the forced Rf8 and than march his queenside pawns cause blacks king is in the opposite corner .
I`ve watched ALL your videos in a few days and am going for a second run :D The miniatures are great . Keep em comin !
Great vid Sean. I agree, from watching Majnu play the Pirc I think you really have to know your stuff with it. Seems to be very sharp, but he often gets away with it in his games. Great analysis, I like being able to see what would happen if different choices are made at key points in the game. Cheers.
Ive been reading Seirawan's books and in it he recommended using the pirc for the best defense against e4. I know this is just one game but would have really like to see a game where Seirawan wins with the pirc. Anyways great video. :)
the pirc defence sucks... end of story, everytime i play or see some1 play that defence they lose

For those who want to learn more on the pirc madcapslaugh also has a couple of good videos on it .
