@maisecret1 I guess it's not just Australia, as people's priorities change, cultures , traditional values , etc etc .. slowly over time gets eroded. The need to "survive" and the need for "immediate gratification" gets top priority. I'm thankful for the hard working team that helps Rinpoche's on his blog to continously put out inspirational stories and much needed tidbits of wisdom and value.
in australia we have many old ways that derserve preserving and realigning in a new and positive way including medicine , language, weather and more
it may be lost if the big bridge from indiginous voice and vision is not fully transferred much the same way in the mouth to ear way of the true dharma has been transferred for so long , some may say australia is a wealthy country full of gold silver etc but truly australia is just a mine full of miners who need direction for future creation
