This is actually quite brilliant. Answering a near, exact excerpt from the original piece, responding to each line while keeping the exact rhyme scheme. My friend, I do believe that you should do the entire piece. I love "Last Thoughts" - and i have always hated any and every attempt to bite off it, redo it, mimic it etc. This would include the Jack Johnson version, can't stand it. I was expecting to hate this, lol ;) But what you've done here...it's very original.
