I have an m7 and an m1000. the m7 has has 270 hp with boondockers high pressure turbo 15 psi boost.
The m1000 with my custom built turbo is pushing 360 hp at 17 psi boost. i know for a fact i can get 20 or more hp stacked on it. "Unless you have 4-cylinders.."Why dont you shut up man.. We all know you have no idea what your talking about.

vectrab97 you honestly think a 2 stroke will outlast a yamaha 4 stroke? we have 8000 miles on a boosted apex and have never needed a rebuild... good luck pushing 14-20#'s of boost to a 2 stroke and having it survive even half that long. they are heavy but that can be fixed with some aftermarket lightweight parts (seat, skis, skid, etc.). i love 2 stroke turbos also but they seem to be much more upkeep to get them to consistently run right

Ummmm...do you know what a Dragon looks like? ;) The second sled was a Dragon turbo running 9 lbs. of boost - there are proboable 10 clips of it throughout the video.
That, my friend, is all a matter of opinion! I owned an M7 Turbo last year and I have to say that in bottomless powder I LOVE my Apex. On hardpack it leaves quite a bit lacking, but in the steep and deep it is by far the funnest sled I have owned - especially at 14 lbs. of boost! :)
Now that's an educated post....sounds and runs are certainly 2 very different things - I'll take 300 hp and 86 mph track speed over 200 hp and 62 mph track speed all day long...and don't question the numbers until you know what you're talking about. :)
what kind of track is on the dragon, seems to be weak and definitly still need some tuning. as for the yammy, that thing sounds mint! i was on my xc800 racing an F7 and some guy witha turbo yammy blew by us both while we were racing. it was imbarassing, but that yammy was FAST!!!
Dragon is an Aero 53 - was running good for it's setup. M7 was WAY off in its fuel mapping. Not a good showing. Apex was overclutched for the amount of boost, but who cares, right? :)

no rebuilt engine ignorant yamaha lover. snowmobile chassis are old junk or broken long before a normal 2stroke engine are on it`s 2rebuilt. 2stroke sled and rebuild are not expensive like 4stroke. e-tec 2stroke rules. I will never bay 4stroke sled. 4stroke are sweet on dirt bikes+++. not on deep snow sleds.

vectra B is a car. and I love the 2stroke smell. direct injection 2 strokes dont smell more than you 4stroke sled stupid.
some 2stroke oils a and engines smell more than others. only peice of shit sleds I see are 4stroke yamahas. my friends phazer break down every 1000km. why the fuck did the make a snowmobile engine out of a dirt bike engine with 30hour service interval. yea it can do 60hour. 4stroke service are expensive. my friend used 8hour just to but on new piston rings..

wow your a dumb shit how is 4stroke service expensive if you hardly ever need to fix anything yah ill admit the phazer wasnt the best 4-stroke but an apex for example you dont need to do any work on it except change your oil every few thousand miles are hyfax/carbides

your a dumb shit... It is way more work to fixs a borken 4stroke. and a lot more parts. and you have to pay for pro service. and 4strokes sleds are expensive to buy. 2stroke rider fixs there sled them self. 90% of the time it just needs new piston and some times it only need new piston rings. low performance 2stroke sleds last 20000km easy. turbo 4strokes need valve service early. that will get almost as expensive as 2stroke piston changes. apex sucks. heavy stuck-mobile

Ummmm...do you know what a Dragon looks like? ;) The second sled was a Dragon turbo running 9 lbs. of boost - there are proboable 10 clips of it throughout the video.

Dragon's are 2 strokes. The one in the video is the 700 Dragon - the 800 Dragon is Red in color.

Not lean, just backed out of the throttle for a second - aerocharger turbos have a bit of that.

Yamaha absolutely killed both m7, and dragon in every category. Power, SOUND, looks, and POWER. Arctic cat and polaris sound like crap, big time.

That, my friend, is all a matter of opinion! I owned an M7 Turbo last year and I have to say that in bottomless powder I LOVE my Apex. On hardpack it leaves quite a bit lacking, but in the steep and deep it is by far the funnest sled I have owned - especially at 14 lbs. of boost! :)

Now that's an educated post....sounds and runs are certainly 2 very different things - I'll take 300 hp and 86 mph track speed over 200 hp and 62 mph track speed all day long...and don't question the numbers until you know what you're talking about. :)

what kind of track is on the dragon, seems to be weak and definitly still need some tuning. as for the yammy, that thing sounds mint! i was on my xc800 racing an F7 and some guy witha turbo yammy blew by us both while we were racing. it was imbarassing, but that yammy was FAST!!!

Dragon is an Aero 53 - was running good for it's setup. M7 was WAY off in its fuel mapping. Not a good showing. Apex was overclutched for the amount of boost, but who cares, right? :)
