@rustynasty143 yes, that's right to some extent, but as in every field of art, technique should not overcome the idea or expression you're looking for. it is right to know how to do something, but what if you know just how to use your tools and toys but have nothing to say? i belive the sweet spot comes when you have the strictly necessary technical inforation to do your art, and go ahead towards your artistical expression, and never forgetting to experiment without fear for "mistakes"
