Yeah I used to pick up CB's on this all the time. Mine looked cooler though with pictures of spock and stuff. Limited range but I got a lot of milage out of the Red Alert signal!

This commercial came out when I was 4 years old, so I dont remember seeing it or the re-runs of it.
