The point of owning a Ferrari is that it is a Ferrari. It is more of a status symbol then anything else. Most people can not afford super cars. Supras are not rare to see. But when you see a Ferrari everyone looks and takes pictures. Also a super moded car will not last as long as a Ferrari will. The thing is they come fast stock. No one wants to mod then because it would be less reliable. If you were to mod a Ferrari it would be insanely fast.
@Caleb12top Supras are rare in my country, I see more Ferraris here than Supras. Ferraris come fast stock, but the Supra is also fast in stock form. A highly tuned Supra will still probably last longer than a Ferrari. Ferraris are not known for their reliability, that's why their owners always keep them garaged.

Most people who own super modded cars run the crap out of them. plus built engines just dont last as long as a car that is stock. but ya Ferrari's engines dont break its mainly electrical and even then its not to bad. The reason most people keep them garaged is because they dont want to pay for the gas and the wear on the car in general because its an expensive car. and that means you live in a high class area.
@Caleb12top If you tune and maintain a Supra properly, they are probably the most reliable cars you can have. The 2JZ engine can handle a lot of power on stock internals. A Ferrari breaking down isn't that bad, it's the bill you have to pay afterwards that's bad. My area is middle class, most the Ferraris around here owned by a few rich people, they hire them out to anybody who has the money. That's why it just doesn't feel special seeing a Ferrari around here.

The clicking is the valve itself slamming shut. It's supposed to do that... He's not gonna BLOW UP the turbo, if anything this will preserve the life of what sounds like a stock Twin supra.

@ass266 well obviously everyone would because no one has the cash for a ferrari or lamborghini. and please dont tell me youre that uneducated in cars. dont get me wrong i love the supra but you cant compare it to a midengine supercar. even if you modify it to make it as fast or faster (plenty of 1000hp supras out there) it still doesnt have the cornering capability or the quality of a handmade limited production car.

@ass266 I used to think Supras were cool and all, but one day I was at a carshow and I saw 2 supras both red with carbon fiber hoods, and one had a bodykit, and they were revving them and since that day I KNOW Supras are the shit! those cars either stock or modified they just look Appealing, Incredible, Elegant, Dazzling, Brilliant, Breathtaking, Amazing, Impressive, Stunning, Attractive, Wonderful AND divine!, you cant appraise enough a supra til you really see one in person!!!!

Considering very nice Supras can be had for 30K, it's only logical to be able to get a supra before a 150K Ferrari or Lambo. It's like saying thumbs up if you can have $20 before $100.

Question iv got tho is- why plumb the BOV back into the intercooler piping? isnt this just putting the pressure back into the same system it is meant to be vented from? usually the BOV got back into the intake in front of the turbo...?
