  • Lucky guess. Not even the luckiest person on earth would try to pass through those things without the code.

  • I'm glad they cut this scene, because as they explained Miles can only hear the last living thoughts of the dead - his quote "when somebody's dead, their brains stops functioning...so there's no more talking" - and this scene clearly implys that Miles was told by the dead that the fence was off

  • miles is great specially the role he played in the X - Men -the last stand

  • miles is the best

  • maybe he didnt "know" that the fence was off. maybe he talked to mikael that died of that fence, and maybe the mikael that was after that was the MIB. just a guess...

  • Poor Sayeed died.

  • since this was deleted i assume they will touch on this or just the fact he can talk to dead people, but i think we know he's psychic based on the fact that he knew 1. micheal's name wasnt rly kevin and 2. charollete came back to find where she was born so i think this would just be a bit too obvious and thats y they deleted it

  • they probably deleted this scene because it would simply make miles look way too psychic. we already know about his ability to communicate with the dead, but being able to "know" the pylons werent set is a little too ridiculous. because if you use that logic - then miles could predict/know much more about the islands mysteries.

i think thats why they cut it. plus, weve never seen the pylons in the middle of the jungle - weve only seen them in open area land. too many ??'s would be asked.

  • Well said. :D

  • true, but remember, the pylons encircle the entire dharma initiative suburb, if its a true 360 degree circle, then it would pass through all types of terrain, not just grassy plains, remember that the dharma suburb is sorrounded by mostly forest and jungle, it is not likely that an entire jungle exists only inside the pylon circle.

  • i doubt that was the reason, because if i pee against it i will notice if its on or off :)

  • @Venomonia no that would kill u

  • @jay041302 you need to pee with skill ofcorse, you pee line must be broken :p

  • @sound420 I think it is simply a case of Miles listening to a nearby dead person nearby telling him the security was off .. I like the scene ..

  • ...WHY would they delete this scene?!

  • lol i liked miles

    in this series

    he waz kool

  • Sarcastic Sayid is funny. X)

  • Lucky guess? Someone told him! :)

  • Neat!

    :-)

  • why the fuck was this deleted

  • ah miles rules tthey shouldve kept this scene.. maybe im just starved for new material though!..

  • that guy is strange he know ghost or something but he is intressting

  • miles, he's so funny :DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

  • Tendre que rentar lost 1, 2 y 3 jajaja para entenderlo.

  • Miles is one of my fav new characters. I would assume this means the people who have died at one point around or because of the pylons were talking to Miles, and somehow told him the fence was off.

  • It's a shame this was deleted, they should have kept more scenes with Miles, Charlotte, Daniel and Frank in them.

  • maybe mikhail told him it was off? :D lucky guess

  • I see why they deleted it. It makes no sense

  • Because of time. and it raises more questions. How did Miles know it was off? and Why was it off?

  • Well, it was a not a good scene because all we really know about Miles is that we think he can talk with ghosts. He can't talk with machines. Ghosts might of told miles that the fence was safe. Of course, is this really imporant? No, the only thing it might suggest is that over the history of the island, many people have died trying to cross the fence. I dont know why it was off, maybe thats why they didnt do the scene because they couldn't explain how the fence shut off.

  • it's off because alex turned it off but i am not sure if that was before or after this scene and i have no clue how miles knew.

  • Doh the island told him, its the destiny paradox. Ever watch "Donnie Darko"?

  • yes, as you say it makes no sense, because , then Ben's daughter wouln't have needed to turn the fence off, therefore John and Sawyer wouldn't have taken the phone call and warned Ben about Code 14 j and ...... Long Story short, "The shape of things to come" would have lost one of its mayor plot points...

  • We don't know she did turn it off, she may have just sent an alarm message if it was already off.

  • Oh, but everything else in "LOST" makes perfect sense, right?

  • Cliche, but im so lost with this show now. How many times can they twist shit. Im stick with my get sulky odds. if you dont know it you should, google it its a money maker

  • Strange that they've cut this one. Its a cool scene.

Hopefully they will put it back in with the DVD version.

  • More scenes with Miles: Needed.

  • why was that deleted? it was good enough to keep in my opinion

  • im guessing he heard people, like he heard the french lady die, he heard people turn off the fence before. you know what im saying?

  • miles is cool...but why was this deleted?

  • Umm...

    WUT?

  • That was odd....

  • 241 patel ash God

  • I like Miles. Definitely a great addition to the show.
