i got both. i got to admit, mice smell a little, and ther pie can smell pretty bad. hamster don't really smell bad. but.... a mouse is alot more fun, they are awaking during the day two, hamsters aren't. a mouse is also really funny, and fast. hamsters are kinda boring and slow....... i perfer mice, but hamsters are cool two.

Try putting some more boxes, loo roll tubes and rocks etc in - mice love to hide away and snuggle up in dark spaces, and are really intelligent so enjoy exploring interesting environment. Gnawing and shredding cardboard will also keep their teeth and claws clean and worn down, and they will be much healthier and happier! i hope this helps! Very cute mice tho - and GREAT bid cage! Just needs a few more levels LOL

sorry ppl but just awhile ago my rats got loose and ate my 2 pet budgies and the babies did 2 so i found them eating the bones of my bird and my aunti said i had to kill the baby rats cause the ycould have gotten us sick and my 2 other rats so i killed them i dident want 2 but i had 2 and now i have 1 rat my other rat was mean and kept biting and geting loose so i set her free
