I must say that I actually like recitals: time to show off what one has acquired during the process of learning. We could actually learn from constructive criticisms. The hard part about recitals, however, is finally facing & performing in front of the crowd; it's nerve wrecking!!! ... Don't quit, look onto the past experiences, and learn & improve from them ;o) Good luck!!!
