I have been i motorcyclist for 25 years and i have seen more than 50 cars crushed just like that. Maybe that policeman should get out more.

please explain me 1 thing. why firefighters have to have helmets in accidents, when there is no fire?

@Timi116 because they are to protect them from more than a fire, if they have to cut someone out of a car there can be sparks and metal and allsorts flying around, it would be like the police working at night in a city centre without a stab vest on, you never know what might happen so better to have it and not need it than the other way round.

But a helmet wouldnt protect you from fire anway. A helmet is to protect the head at work. Simples

@CH1CKENQUIFF amm firefighters helmets are designed to protect the head from fire and also at work. and also, why do they have to (not here but i saw somewhere else) wear fire protective clothing when the cop work with them in T-shirts arm to arm.
