There's just nothing to grip unless you can pry it up with a tool. I suppose they're not all the same and this one had something to grip, but yeah, they are really heavy!

LOL yeah he didn't quite fell IN the sewer. Honestly this is not a true sewer lid, at least not one like the ones we have in Canada. They must weight at least 150-200 pounds and if he received such a lid (adding that it fell on the edge side) on his arm he would litterally have his arm crushes and his bone into pieces and he would certainly not have used his arm like that in order to get back up. The lid looks way too light. The guy does not have the shape to lift a real lid on top of head
