Leather face comes from Ed Gein and Freddy Kruger was inspired by a young teen that died while haveing a nightmare right in front of his parents wes craven read about this in the papper. And Pysco and Silence of lambs and American Pysco were also inspired by Ed Gein the servial killer of plain feild yeah anyways just goes show you all horror films usually have a true story behind them

I'm a huge fan of both Freddy and Leatherface. But you know, Leatherface can die, and Freddy can't, 'cause Freddy is a made-up character. Leatherface is real, and he's still out there with the name of Bubba Sawyer. You guys are pretty dumb, saying that Leatherface is fictional. It's nothing fictional about Leatherface, but Freddy is so not real. :/ So that's a stupid question. I would ask "Michael Myers vs Leatherface?", but I know Leatherface kicks his ass. :P
