  • I had this problem too but now its corrected. I dont think you need to get a new machine at all.

    Go to Apple's online support pages and type in "Resetting your Mac's PRAM and NVRAM".

    The reset is a simple procedure that can be completed in 5 minutes. Also, if you keep adjusting the contrast on your screen, it will cause the automatic sensor to misbehave. Find a contrast setting and keep it, let the Mac do the rest.

  • Well the screen flickering isnt happening to everyone so we are just gonna get another one

  • there is a software patch that fixes the problem. it worked for me!!

  • nah because i have already got it and it didnt work. It still flickers. I think its the graphics card.

  • You can send it back if you want. Alternatively you can run software update and download the patch the fix's the graphics card flicker issue.
