  • 0:21 : Battlefield 3 now available on Windows 95

  • This song reminds me of HELLO TO YOU~ハロー!プロジェクト 10周年記念テーマ with Morning Musume.

  • Me gusta la musica xdd

  • No one should ever use IE. Get Firefox, or Chrome, or anything other than IE.

  • 95-98 and XP are my top three :D does W7 work great as the others?!

  • @spnogre yep

  • @spnogre YES, however, If your ganno make the switch to 7, add IE8 too, Win 7 has issues with IE7

  • Microsoft should make more commercials like this.... ;P

  • 0:26

Scared the crap out of me.

  • it does look like that thriller movie with that chinese kid. how was that called:P

  • haha reminds me of FEAR or the ring

  • loginng in as admin opens HUNDREDS of security holes. Another reason why UBUNTU rocks.

  • yeah I guess you're right.. let's settle our differences over a nice lan game ofOH WAIT YOU CAN'T.

  • what game?

  • Call of duty? crysis? battlefield 2- oh I think you have that one. lucky, it's a classic.

oh shit that's mac, not ubuntu. you literally can't play any of those types of games unless you use some emulation software

  • Wine might work

  • SWBF2 works, COD achieves better performance the windows, but sadly crysis crashes 10 secs into the game. Not bad for games that don't have native support for Linux. Try running Linux stuff on windows :)

  • exactly lol, you still rely on windows for that kind of stuff, whereas with windows you don't rely on anything, ever

  • See if you can get Fontforge to run. *rolling on the floor laughing*

  • See if you can get FontCreator to run. *rolling on the floor laughing*

only my argument goes for 70% of all programs in existence.

  • although I will admit, your OS has the most epic theme ever created. Compiz is incredible, I really really nearly switched to dual booting Ubuntu just for that feature alone. I ended up not doing it because there'd be nothing else to do on ubuntu apart from play around with the windows :P

you know, I might just download VMWare again, I have a licence I paid for after all. Then I can run Ubuntu in windows, that'll be easier than dual booting

  • lol wow

  • ffs. 30----- SECONDS

  • Get this, there are over 1 million computer programmers under 12. Me included

  • i'm 12 the younger ones don't know as much lol

  • me too

  • When you where born this wasn't even released....

  • and many of those programmers are no good or use something like RPG maker and think they coded a game. pull out some C++, C#, java, delphi/pascal, or python and make something useful out of it (or a game that isn't some crappy knockoff of another one) and then i'll be impressed

  • I'm under 12 but I only know VB(a horrable subsitute for a programing language)

  • eh, vb is nothing to be ashamed of, especially for someone your age. its old, obsolete, and limited but its still a legitimate program and a great start. when i was 8 i started programming in Q. i have visual basic 6.0 but i never really got around to using it

  • that was pwnage. Windows 98 is better but windows 95 really pumped up most of the good gui at the time. I'm happy im on a vista now.Although the parental controls are really bugging me.....

  • You can turn them off... (parental controls)

  • @europeafrika: You need to be an admin

  • Not hard to be an admin :) I always login as "Administrator" so I can enjoy Vista better...

  • WiNdOwS 95 sUcKs

  • Wts the song on this?

  • the song is Start me up by The Rolling Stones.

  • @dimples282 "if you start me up, i swear i'll never stop." IRONIC!!!

  • PMSL Yeah

  • b so funny if the blue screen of death popuped

  • you have to start me-BSOD appears

  • No. It really doesn't.

  • r u sure about that?

  • Yup. I mean, don't get me wrong, it's a *capable* OS, if you're patient and somewhat tech-saavy.

I really don't have time for that, so I use Vista.

    *puts flamesuit on*

  • It does! It comes with MS Office '07 equivalent, a browser better than IE, and a Photoshop equivalent, all for free!

  • I forgot the most important thing! It can make windows explode or burn up or wobble. Search Youtube for Compiz.

  • The music for the spot was wisely chosen - a few verses later it would say: You make a grown man cry!

BTW: This is written on a Mac!

  • haha, i have both a windows 95 and a windows 98 sitting in my room, i use to have one of those old, i think 2.3, i forget, i broke it though, messed up with a startup code and it was kaput, man i still love my 95, takes all the dust out our house and just sucks it it in!

  • Interested in selling the 98 CD?

  • i dont even have the 98cd, they were getting new computers at work so we all went home with a computer.

  • Aww. Ok. :(

  • jesus christ we've advanced so far in 12 years...futures looking good (by that i mean when vista is replaced)

  • I wonder whatever became of that little Asian girl at the end of the clip. Where is she now, 12 years later?

  • me too!

  • I remember the little Asian girl the most. I bet she's got XP or Windows Vista and she loves to chat with her friends online. Who knows?

  • LOL! lmao!

  • Your'e such a sellout Mick!!

  • My assumption is that most of the people who are so quick to mock Windows 95 have little to no idea of what they're talking about.

  • It was good advertising at least :)

  • "wow" haha

  • MCZEE! (0:05)

  • Did you see how primitive those computer graphics were, lol

  • Deja-vui

This happens with every new windows

Right now there doing the same thing for Windows Vista

  • If you pause it on the 82nd frame, you see the blue screen of death! - It wouldn't be Windows 95 with out the Blue Screen of Death.

  • If you pause it on the 82nd frame, you see the blue screen of death! - It wouldn't be Windows 95 with out the Blue Screen of Death.

  • where is the 82nd Frame?

  • i want a 95!!!!

  • 100% 90s!!!

  • "Begin getting BSOD every day for a nicer day"

Where do you want to crash today? Micro$oft

  • on a VHS tape of mine.

  • Where in the heck did you find this video at ? I remember searching for several hours online and never found it until doing the search today on YouTube to see if anyone had it. (I've been on YouTube for a long time and never seen it on here). Cheers for finding it and sharing it !

  • Wow, the *new* Windows flag is in there!

  • microshit is like a terrorist organisation, they are making everything worse with their crappy os, they have always been unfair to get the "pole position" in pc os programming, now they have it, and windows still SUXX, IT STINKS! but everything is based on it, driving me nuts

  • Windows is good.

  • Do you have a big boner for Richard Stallman? Go back to Linux, you GNUbie.

  • yay... windows is good yeah... i am strongly not aggreeing with that... i mean they have been programming shit for the last 15 years and it will keep that way... man, GNUbie xD this one's cool im going to keep that

  • Fuck you. Apple is the terrorists. You know how much they charge for those Piece of trash computers? Over $1,000!

  • Same for the high-end laptops, but I concur to an extent your first statement.

    hb151

  • GET A LIFE!

  • Go ahead and whine over a computer OS...You seriously think you're gonna change anything? -_-

  • Wow! I remember this fantastic day. I have the original pack of Windows 95 and Plus! too. Windows 95 changed my life. Thanks! Microsoft and Bill Gates.

  • And i love the Microsoft natural keyboard. It's fantastic!

  • It just showed how out of date Windows 3.1 was (although there is a lot of Win 3.11 under the skin of Win95)

  • yeh starting up is what i have to do alot of with windows

  • I remember this. It looks so primitive now.
