The Kyokugenryu team, though deadly similar to the "shotos" (which I heard shotokan is the incorrect term for the style), are slightly different. Yuri's probably the only one that's probably the closest to being a SF clone out of that team, if you're talking about her later moveset. The fact that Capcom responded with Dan made it cool.lol

To add on the discussion of "who stole what" and whatnot, I definitely think it's cool how juri's character is coming out. I agree with the mention of that she's a tae kwon do practitioner, and evil. That is different.

About the Ramon thing, they're both luchadores. Of course they're going to be a bit similar. Personally, I like Ramon better. He has some kind of charm to him, which is another thing that separates characters from one another.

She uses Tae Kwon Do... but that's not stealing from SNK, it's just one of the most famous and spectacular martial arts in the world. And IT IS from South Korea.

Yeah, but the stuff they "stole" was just basic Fighting game stuff that almost EVERYONE uses. The whole system of KOF is different, also, Tae Kwon Do isn't actually done like that, so they're not imitating REAL Tae Kwon Do, heck, Kim hardly does real Tae Kwon Do himself. Also, El Fuerte plays almost exactly like Ramon, all the same moves and such, it's a little TOO coincidental and Ken didn't have a crack shot move.

EVERYBODY started copying it after SF2.

But...!! Those were not the only things that SNK copied. Ryo, Yuri, the whole Art of Fighting game and the whole Fatal Fury game have so many similarities to SF (and the second also to Final Fight) that it's embarassing.

On TKD... yes, both Kim and Juri (like ANY fighting game character) have flashier moves that don't fit with their style.... OF COURSE.

Actually no, this is not an expansion to begin with, is a new game, which will include all the previous characters from SFIV plus 8 or 10 more characters (not sure if this are among thos 10 or if they are this 3+10 more), a new story, and something about balancing the game. The good thing is it will not be charge full price, 30 or 40 bucks I guess, and for the ones who already own the game, their is some sort of surprise, yet to be announce.

Yeah i agree. I always thought it would be awesome if they did a rendering of each stage from SF2 in 3d. Personally I miss Ken's dock stage with the breakable barrel that was in the corner. Also E.Honda's bathtub stage would be interesting to see in the next game. Guile's old air force stage would be a great idea too, I didn't like the Runway stage in street fighter 4 that much. Everyone should have their own individual stage, I miss that.
