  • 호떡은 한국의 전통음식이지요.

  • isn't that hoddeok??

  • I know you posted this comment 4 months ago but it says hoddeok in the title. "호떡"

  • thank you for this video. I am half korean but my language skills are terrible. I bought a mix and I could not tell what to do with the filling. Now that I have watched this I know to leave the filling dry!!! THANK YOU

  • I LOVE THOSE!!! *o*

  • i really want to try some of that!

  • It sounds delicious!

  • If you ever go to thailand you should try Banana Roti. It's made by the street vendors. It's as delicious as Hoddeoks. Now I'm craving for some Hoddeok. My Korean supermarket sells instant Hoddeok dough. It has the inside components and everything nicely packaged int there. All you need to do is add like water to the flour mix and you got Hoddeok Dough.

  • The title of the food actually should be translated: King (Wang) sticky rice (chup ssal) ho ttek (pancake), not some random "fried syrup pancake"..just my opinion..as the name of the food does not say anything about syrup or plain frying..

  • these are soo good!! i just made a batch!! AWESOME!!!

  • I never knew these existed. I must make them.

  • dude those r so good, when i was dere in korea during winter i would buy those from one of the store stands that r making those n its so good

  • i had one today, after i ate it i got a headache and felt really sick.. prob bc i hadn't eaten anything all day lol

  • what are the ingredients for the pancake dough? and the sugar?

  • yeast, flour and water are in the dough while brown sugar is the primary component of the gooey inside, but often there's also chopped nuts, maybe some rasins, sesame seeds... I've even seen sunflower seeds which was awesome!

  • @evilpunksters it's not just flour though its flour and a form of rice flour that makes the dough very elastic and gooey.

  • i didnt get how to get the syrup done though T.T

  • It's actually filled with brown sugar that melts as you fry the pancake. The sugar becomes the syrup!

  • =.= it looks wonderfullllll "drools"

  • We all accept opinions from everyone since they are very respectable, but we need to respect what is there too...please don't give a comment like those that really doesn't show a necessary respect...(-.-) I mean it's only my point of view so I don't know but people are giving out too many weird comments...

    (TㅅT)

  • yep...but lol
