  • Im trying to change final fantasy vii game icon on pc

  • thanks, i changed my 3ds max 2012 icon to max 2010 icon

  • I Love u Dude

  • see its funny because you have the csrss.exe virus in task manager.

  • @DOPEXAMP Don't listen to this yahoo. That's a critical system file. Don't play with files that you don't know what they are.

  • Hey, just wondering if you knew, can you change the icon of just one file.

So if i wanted to change a .exe of just one program instead of everything that ends in .exe

  • Yes, Finally a smart person... Thanks a lot bro this was awesome advice, great tutorial, clear instructions, and very simple, thanks a lot... Thumbsed Up & Subscribed!!!!!

  • This is fantastic!! I was wondering if you can change the icon of an .avi file to display a filmstrip with the preview of the video clip, let's say a snapshot of my blue skirt or something in Vista? right now all you can see is a regular white paper with a tiny icon of a regular filmstrip, and it's getting annoying since you have to go one by one to see wich clip you want to watch. This didn't look like that when the laptop was new, do u have any recomendations? Thanks

  • doesn't got any of the 2 maps

  • Dude i want to change my mp3 icon's but i dont want my folders to be the same..? can i do that/

  • Think what you may be looking for is: HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT > WMP11.AssocFile.MP3 > DefaultIcon.. although I haven't tried it myself!

  • @RedTopProductions is there another folder I could use to change the MP3 icon? They just suddenly changed one day. now they look like a file that windows doesn't recognize, yet they play just fine. nothing else is wrong, just that.

  • worked perfectly for me :) thanks man

  • worked for me.

it was scary resetting windows explorer like you did lol. luckily i had task manager open to open up run because even windows key-r didnt open it.

*note i used my own icons though

  • Dont work for me.

  • Yeah, I've found a few that wouldn't work for me either... some other registry key somewhere I never found. If you know the path of the current icon try doing a search in the registry, should bring you to the right key
