I grew up with perkins powered tractors.Simple but unbreakable engines.A lot of those V8,s were used as stanby generator sets.

What were these models like on the fuel ? Just recently read that its predecessor the 1150 drank about 9 US gallons per hour . Drank it like an alcoholic drinks the boze .

thats nouthing Ihad my 1155 with 180hp (extra fuel pump to boost the psi to 8lbs before the injector pump) pulling a 32 foot colivator

No,,,,, It's 141 HP Perkin's 540 V8 Diesel,

you dont run a V8 Diesel like a six,

Use more rev's and dont lug it, it will do better in fuel mileage if you keep the rev's up to 2,500,or 600,

Nej det var ikke ved Farmerservice. det var ved Carsten Balle Lisbjerg. Han havde 2 mf 1200 og de 3 1155. og meget meget andet. Farmerservice har for tiden 9stk 1200 der kan køre og lige så mange 4880 og 4900 mfér. har lige været oppe og besøge dem :-) seje traktore mvh Kaj

hej.. Tak for svaret.. Ja er det så carsten Balle ude ved Århus? Okey det må ha værert en oplevelse og være oppe og se den farmerservice. Jeg havde budet sidste år med en modelklub jeg er med i men var desværre forhindret. Ville ellers gerne ha været derop..
