im anative ifontoc,,and i just want to comment that bontoc dance is not as fast as this,,,this is what we call balangbang,or inapay,bontoc dance is compose of 7 or more gong beater.its fast however its smooth,,not that kind of smooth and rough,,try to locate lang ay_2008vbonto

I'm from AYala, Zamboanga and headhunting is my thesis, I learnt that the bontok was the worst headtaker. Why don't you read old accounts like that book by Cornélis De Witt Willcox. The bontoks, practitioners of the "pechen" or peace pact (pochon, northern kalinga or bodong, lower kalinga)

According to the book of Jenks an American missionary in Bontok 1901, the Ifugaos were victims of Bontok headhunters, only when the Americans came had they been able to fight against the Bontoks because of help from the foreigners
