@dudekaus - no one was pushing it. We will need to re-shoot it to show the entire length of the truck. In the meantime, we do have a second unconventional strength test called the "C-Loop - How to make a swing set with your SLR camera DIY style". Please feel free to email us if you have any other questions.
Just a little feedback, the camera operator should have moved out more/gone wide angle so you could see the entire vehicle being pulled by the tripod mount. I'm left questioning whether there was somebody at the back of the vehicle giving you a hand by pushing it. Just an observation.
It is not the strap that I am concerned with, it is the battery grip and its threaded mount. Did you attach the c loop to the battery grip and perform the stress test? Thanks.
@01Dirtnapper - we just did a test of the battery grip for you :) Please see our latest video upload titled, "C-Loop - Camera Battery Grip Swing Test"
Good demo, this was a question in my mind also about the mount. BUT, I am more concerned about the mount on the battery grip. As I look at grip, that mounting plate on the bottom only has 4 small screws, have you tried any stress test using a battery grip? I would like to get this for my next trip. Thanks.
Hi @01Dirtnapper - we tested the C-Loop on a 20D w/battery grip and lenses without any issues. For most setups under 15lbs (most straps are rated between 12-15lbs), everything should hold up just fine. For larger lenses it is recommended to use the tripod mount on the lens collar. Thank you for your interest.

Thanks, it was an actual test. We should have stepped further away so the whole truck was in the shot. Stay tune for some more updates on our website.

was somebody pushing the truck (the reason the truck moved) instead of your pull. I don't buy it.

Best use for a canon yet, tow your Honda with it and use a Nikon to shoot photographs.

you're testing more the strength of the straps than the actual loop itself.
