I know kotelnik is not much of a solid champion but the bottom line is he was the champion he beat a few hard opponents i.e Maidana. He also lost to couple of good boxers i.e Witter which some say he won and also some say he beat the other opponent. Khan beat him fair and square.

I know kotelnik is not much of a solid champion but the bottom line is he was the champion he beat a few hard opponents i.e Maidana. He also lost to couple of good boxers i.e Witter which some say he won and also some say he beat the other opponent. Khan beat him fair and square.

Its not even a year ago when Khan got annihilated in 54 sec everyone including myself wrote him off. Even when you look at the fight now you think that how can a Fighter like that come back from a loss like that. To be honest I dont think many fighters can, but he proved everyone wrong he got up dusted himself and came back stronger and became the world champion just for that I have to give him credit and I think everyone should give him credit.

Hopkins is a legend. His freakish training and discipline enabled him to fight into the 40s. But dont let it fool you into thinking he was anywhere near his prime. He was way past it. Just that he was not a walking punchbag like Tyson and RJJ were at the end of their careers

The fact is. Khan has never fought at this weight before. Kotelnik has never been stopped. Khan has been stopped (By a relatively unknown Breidis Prescott). Khan has a glass jaw. Khan has no stamina, i don't care how fast he is. Khan does not have enough power in his hands to knock any half decent fighter out. He's just a boxer who got lucky because of the Olympic games. If he claims to be as good as he is, he'll go and fight Prescott again to avenge his defeat. Instead if ducking, AGAIN.

I think Khan can beat Kotelnik but it will be interesting if he ever got in the ring with Dmitriy Salita who is an obvious future opponent . Salita was being lined up to fight Kotelnik but Warren usurped his chance by getting Khan his shot . It is not difficult to see why Kotelnik opted to fight Khan , more money and an easier opponent. Warren will avoid Salita should Khan win and set up a string of Oisin Fagan type heroes to challenge Khan. .

No Disrespect to your Opinion Dees, but his knockout to Prescott, will be viewed historically as just a really bad day. He wasnt even trained properly, he had way to much wait on his upper body, he had no defensive training and no gameplan. He might as well have tied one hand behind his back. Not to mention Prescott was way way way better, it was a super fight. I think it was anomoly.
