First time I ever cried at a gig. And I said no to the coke. And I'm talking about Brighton, UK...home of bad ideas in the right place...
is it just me, or is ASMZ sounding more and more like Godspeed, minus the singing? No songs on ASMZ's first album have great crecendos (a la Godspeed) like these new ones now.
i agree with perdolum88. i saw them last night at colchester and for one piece they slipped into a section which was VERY similar to part of Static. but in general also, i think they have become quite GY!BE-esque, especially comparing Horses in the Sky with Born Into Trouble.
I saw them perform this in Seattle and cried and I hope they do an album version of it.

yes, it's just you. There are still plenty of stylistic differnces, and it's not like GY!BE was the only band to ever use crecendos.

They share a lot of memebers with GYBE so their styles will be similar, but ASMZ is very different.
