Me 2 I love big city's. I've been to London, Paris, Amsterdam, Bukarest, Iasi (the 2nd biggest city of Romania), Bruxelles and Prague so far. But if I could go to Tokyo it would be like a dream come true :D. I live in the Netherlands so it really is the exact opposite side of the world.
I have to pick a study now and I'm looking for something that allows me to travel a lot. And if it's possible, I'll definitely will visit to Tokyo! :)
thx 4 the great videos, they're really worth watching
I've been to a few of those cities, but not all. I guess every city has something specifically its own. If you come to Tokyo, I'll show you around. PS - Thanks! I'm glad you liked the video! - LHS
If you love big cities, trains, and Japan, then you probably would like Tokyo. It's a fascinating city. I wish there were not quite so many people here - although the high density is what drives the construction and maintenance of the train system... - LHS
I had a friend here from Manila (who then moved to California), but I've never been to Manila, so I can't compare - you should post some video from there so I can see! The manga-readers were in the manga magazine section of a regular bookstore. The manga magazines used to be really popular, but are a little less so now. - LHS
Oh yea that's right. I'll post as soon as I get out of the house... Kinda tough situation I'm in right now (can't tell) but look forward to it. I'll do Makati buisness district first since that's the closest to me. Don't expect much since my video cam is currently in need of repairs....
Less manga? That's sad... Does that mean that the culture is undergoing another change? I hope not... it's already changed too much.
Video cameras... the reason there's a huge gap in my video material is that, after burning out four cameras between 1990 & 1992, I gave up on video and went back to regular photography. I finally started taking some video a few years ago and didn't even get a real video camera until this year. As for manga - they're still popular - it's just that the manga magazines are not doing so well, but manga books, etc. are still selling well. - LHS
Oh I see, that's good then. As expected from a pro... just like a musician will go through several instruments. Well I'll be taking the videos from my keitai... just hope I can edit it well enough. :)

I love trains, I love big cities, and I love Japan. Every time I watch one of your videos I get an urge to just quit my job and move to Tokyo.

Some of those places felt like home back in Sta. Cruz Manila...
well I don't live there anymore so kinda miss it and some of these places reminded me of it. I like the doijin shop, a bit of a manga freak myself. :P
