i always watched this movie as a kid, loved it, never knew who Carl Sagan was though, let alone he wrote the story. Then recently i discovered his work, which launched me into a path towards astrophysics as a career. and i have done some research into fractal theory, which much personal experience in the matter. I am convinced the universe is fractal by nature and fractals have some relation to the Grand Unifying theory physicists are working so hard at developing. get at me for more info.
@anjundoobies89 If you liked the work of Carl Sagan you'll definitely love the work of his friend and colleage Richard Hoagland, and his view of a the Hyperdimesional Universe. You would probably like a more in debpt look into the "G.U.F.T." w/ the work of Nassim Haramien.
@anjundoobies89 This really just sounds like you're making stuff up about your own "research"... Do you have any PROOF you've done any actual reasearch? Like, say, point me towards some of your papers?
Seriously, don't make baseless claims on youtube that are clearly untrue (and you don't sound like any physicists I know...)
@322978743 i never said i've written papers on the subject, what i meant by research is finding papers via the internet. i never said i am a physicist. there are no baseless claims made in my statement. you blew my simple interest in the subject way out of proportion, put words in my mouth, and inferred your own baseless claims about my comment.
Hah. Why didn't it start at the level of atoms then go to molecules and so on...
Reminds you how small everything is. Sometimes I think about fractals and rendering them and.. I wonder how much of space is just some kind of illusion we're presently unable to break.
Its not often I come across a friend while commenting here and there on good old Youtube.
One thing is for sure the word "Universe" is not the encompassing globe that holds all, merely the furthest our consciousness has reached "so far".
At one point the Earth was everything now some believe we are minuscule. Given the nature of the Fractal we are infinitely big and infinitely small and all at the same time too.
..... :O

certainly all in the Universe is a fractal but physicists are not the people who solved the quiz, we system scientists did, (-: unificationtheorycom

We are NOT in the Pillars of Creation Nebula.

@VladimirVLD just noticed that. hmmm. Carl Sagan wouldn't like that innaccuracy

completely out of sync.
if radio signals were traveling that slow we would have some major major problems with the theory of classical physics.
sonofhendrix 2 years ago
...classical physics already has some major major problems!!! Radio waves can be anywhere at any time. I think!
