as for reception while driving...i found that the standard quality option does quite well while moving, the HQ option is quite choppy.

...these options may depend on your slingbox model...not too sure there.

Very nice setup i have slingbox on my 3gs also if i jailbreak my iphone to get the video out how do i get my slingbox app on a jailbroken iphone ???

...as for the app itself, you could buy it or you may want to look into a program called install0us.

It works somewhat moving, but you are correct, it is meant for when stationary.

I use an M2-ATX power supply that does all the hibernation and restarting stuff (by simulating a power button). I also use a Verizon EVDO usb device that once the computer comes out of hibernation, it automatically reconnects to the internet, so I'm pretty much connected all the time. The Navigation software I use uses satellite images and downloads "on the fly" so I needed to stay connected all the time.

so the in dash pc hibernatees when the eengine is off?

then comes out of hibernation through some other hardware when the engine is on?

the sierra wireless usb adapters have a bug which requires a hardware reset between hibernations. like unplugging and re plugging in thee usb adapter. who did u overcome that?

I have a verizon USB EVDO device. If you look at my other video's it shows what else the computer runs. It's pretty cool.
