Top Sounds, knackering myself out getting down and spinnin to these top choons! Well done Widder. Keep em comin. Anyone out there remember the Friday nights at the British Legion Club in Accrington or the all-dayers at the Lancastrian Suite in Burnley!
love all your vids. as a matter of interest, ever watched the clint eastwood film "coogans bluff"? (1968) the night club he goes called the "pigeon toed orange peel" playing the song of the same name .... fab northern! if you ever get the chance to watch it you l see what i mean also watch the dancers!! this tune was apparently written especially for that film, how well it would go down at our events and no one seems to have come acros it!
Hi soulbrother67, the tune out of coogans bluff was covered by The Prisoners a few years back, its not been released as far as i know, but i have an MP3 of their version somewhere.

Thanks for this northern soul. At 55 years old I remember it. Was a Beatles guy, but liked this music to the era then as well.
