  • 3:29 look on the way

    top, left hand corner

  • What's strange about that? It's a list of common passwords, and as a matter of fact, that's my computer password... Well no, but I bet it actually is for quite a lot of people! =D

  • @bonitabutterfly woah!

  • i swear tht guy was kane in command and conquer

  • lol 4 sure hah

  • Hmmm, its very impressive. Blocks specifics websites, spreads like crazy, and could write to the BIOS... Genius.

  • Conficker was on my system for about 5 seconds until my anti virus deleted it

  • douche bags like that should be killed :D

im glad i've got Symantec anti-virus (Corporate)

  • No, this is NOT correct. Even an idle Windows PC is constantly sending and receiving packets. Any of these packets can be infected.

You need to stop misleading people.

No Windows PC is safe while connected to the Internet.

  • oh my god my computer is infected!!!

  • Microsoft is unavailable, page load error. A lot of their anti virus links don't work today.

  • no...that most likely means that you have the Conficker worm. the worm doesn't let you go to any security sites that get rid of the worm like micrsoft. that kinda sucks.

  • honestly, nothing visible will happen to your computer on April the 1st, the days of "joke" mal-ware has come to an end, now where would be the profit in taking "9 million" computers and doing something that will alert the user of an intrusion?

Are the two speaking in this video even qualified to speak about this piece of malware, you seem to only have a rudimentary understanding of how Cyber crime works in general, so maybe you should do abit of research before preaching about this subject?

  • I believe they are speaking in layman's terms intentionally, that is, matching their message to their intended audience.

Their qualifications, moreover, have nothing to do with the value of the content in their message, which you must evaluate for yourself (as you should with all messages from all sources, all the time, everywhere. Even your best friend.).

  • I have symantec and it has protection against conficker

  • Yes, most well-known anti-virus firms have issued protection/clean-up tools.

Be careful what you download - there are some fake Conficker removal tools out there.

  • your not safe!!!

conficker disables the anti virus programs auto update..so if you got confcker before your anti virus system knew about it... there have been about 4 different versions of coinflcker...so be shure to turn auto update on again...if its off....and scan your pc...symantec has very weak protection... i woulkd go with kaspersky
