@gtariman03 no i think when some one says harvester ants they mean it like a nick name cause im sorta positive that any ant that harvests seeds are harvester ants.
When they get the big seeds they fall down the hole.

@gtariman03 Yeah, bird seeds are ok, but look for the smallest types of seeds cause f.e. sunflower seeds are too big.
