I am a professional sports public address announced who once was the subsitute PA man for the New New York Islanders. The public address announcer is out of line spurring on the crowd during this scene on the ice. This is not professional wrestling. Spurring on the crowd also puts the safety of the officials on ice in GRAVE danger.

Speaking as a PA man, the organization should be severely condemmed for permitting their house announcer to act like a total jackass.

I completely agree with my esteemed colleague...as an announcer for the Charlotte Checkers of the ECHL, we would never get on a PA system and do this. It's unprofessional and embarassing to our fraternity of hard-working announcers.
