  • アメリカのソング・ライティングの財産、ロジャー・ニコルス、ポール・ウィリアムス~"愛のプレリュード"~カレン・カーペンターがますます見事にしたネ!

  • Is there any way you can upload this album to Mediafire or some other file sharing site? The CD is IMPOSSIBLE to purchase.

  • 1408, lol

  • This is good. Tastefully laid back. These guys were in hot form during this period. Dig the bass and the organ at 1.42.

  • Really like this version...raw and real.

  • The song originally debuted in a commercial for Crocker National Bank in California in the late winter of 1970, with Williams providing the vocals.

  • Cool!!! thanks for posting! its nice listening to the original version, but i love the one did by the Carpenters!!!

  • I love hearing this original version! Thanks for posting.

  • @currylizard16

I do too! It's interesting to hear this rare original version, and how The Carpenters created a new arrangement and made it their own. I gotta hand it too you; Paul Williams, though small in size(5'), is HUGE on talent! Two other of his songs 'Rainy Days and Mondays" and "I Won't Last a Day Without You" were also remade by Richard and Karen. There will never be another songwriter like Paul!

  • u all know thats williams drom smokey and the bandit lil enous a fucking genious

  • And to think that was originally for a BANK COMMERCIAL!

  • The stuff Williams and Nichols wrote and demoed in this period is absolutely fantastic!
