Wow this is awesome. I'm a computer science student too. What can i look at to do things like this? Could you recommend me any tutorial? or a book perhaps?
like thousands of eyes looking at you O.O! great... and funny!... 5/5 i have a question doing that kind of things.... its programming... graphic design stuff?
the question is... your slime game physics engine its more programing than graphic design? im studying graphic design and i made one level on a course of 3D Studio Max... i would like to start something.. work in a nice proyect =/
yes, in this version. however, i have stopped doing soft body physics by putting springs inside the polygon, as there are quite a few very good reasons not to use springs.
in 1945 a young girl named kata lata kulu came to America on a grey boat from Africa. a mysterious man killed her by carving the word "LATUALATUKA" in her back. now that you have read this she will come to your house on a full moon and steal your soul unless you follow these directions

I love games based on physics... you say you wanna make it into a game with weapons and stuff, you could add little swords and have them pop each other, or puddles that melt them. But other than that i cant imagine much. It seems like it'd be like the sand sand sand! things
dude when ur finished w/ this game PLZ send me a link, also i think it would be pretty cool if u could control some fo the slimes, or if u could make another part of the game where u could throw them around
here's a little game made with the engine. (i guess this is an engine because i have a slime class and a poly class and it's able to extend to a lot of uses) it's for two players.
by the way, every body that is looking to become a game developer, it is important when you're doing tutorials that you don't just copy and paste the code. doing so will hinder your ability to derive things by your self.
This slime is an Octagon!

Any chance you will release the source code for this?

That squeezing-through-the-hole mechanic is quite appealing. Also the eyes are good. This could really be used for something.
