  • This slime is an Octagon!

  • Wow this is awesome. I'm a computer science student too. What can i look at to do things like this? Could you recommend me any tutorial? or a book perhaps?

  • Lol Gish used the same thing but it looked like 3 times better.

  • @yzbi this video is a bit dated

  • @kotsoft Gish was released in 2004, 3 years before this video was posted on youtube.

  • Might well be the cutest physics simulation ever :)

  • Looks like jello more than slime

  • Any chance you will release the source code for this?

  • That squeezing-through-the-hole mechanic is quite appealing. Also the eyes are good. This could really be used for something.

  • Heh, cute and well done. IN THE NAME OF SCIENCE!

  • biatch it is very ugly

  • Looks impressive. Real cool science project

  • Wow how cute those things are.

Nice project! now do it in R3!

  • Hehe, you could've beat Sony to it and made LocoRoco with this engine :D Very good!

  • can I play this when im bored plz.

  • wicked cool! Hope you got a first!

  • THIS IS SCIENCE

  • Can I please have a download link. This is very professinal. I would very much use this for my boredness. (Sorry for engish, im German

  • lol there so cute with there eyes following the mouse

  • I think that's kinda creepy :D

  • Hah, their eyes is following the mouse :D Nice effect!

  • i feel sorry for the poor slimes on the bottom.. squished under that pressure :(

if they go under too much pressure they should implode and fall apart :D

  • krabs is a whore

  • Will you ever release this? It's awesome.

  • when i get the time, i'll release something like this, but with the area preserving slime, so it should make it more accurate, yet faster.

  • @kotsoft oh please do and when u do please put a link on here!!!

  • this is actually using java.

  • you should try and see if you can get this into the powder games :D

  • what game is this? or is it a mod? cos i wanna try!

  • Reminds me of World of Goo!

  • lol every creature is looking at the mouse :DD

  • wow must take alotta coding!

  • Try out jellocar by Walaber. This reminds me of it.

  • niiiiiiiice

  • That looks awesome!

  • cool

  • hi, cool game 5 stars :D

¿¿do you know where can i find some kind of tutorial or explanation of 2d game physics like yours??

  • well, i basically made it up as i went, but i might make a tutorial someday.

  • @kotsoft yeah plz make a tutorial!!!

  • download my in the house

  • no!! i have oecake and u cant controll these blobs!

  • MAKE A DOWLOADLINK PLZZZZZ!!!!!

  • where did u get the fuzzie wwuzzy likle things? where did you get the propgrame?

  • i made them.

  • Reminds me of LocoRoco

  • nice job on the eyes

  • ooooor they look sooo cute

lets strap em to shairs and test poisens and other lethil substances like hemlock and ergot )=+) cool 5*

  • can i have those phisics all do anything

  • omfg that looks so..... PHYSICSHYEE!

  • its like jello car is it using the same phys?

  • no. it actually came before jello physics, but it does work very similarly.

  • where can i find tis game? it looks so fun!!!!!!

  • Woah, sweet engine.

You should use this and try make a game of it.

  • Nice soft body physics simulation :D

  • I wanna play this!

  • This is honestly the best thing ever.. 0 0

  • LOL. All eyes pointing the mouse. very nice

  • like thousands of eyes looking at you O.O! great... and funny!... 5/5 i have a question doing that kind of things.... its programming... graphic design stuff?

  • what's the question?

  • the question is... your slime game physics engine its more programing than graphic design? im studying graphic design and i made one level on a course of 3D Studio Max... i would like to start something.. work in a nice proyect =/

  • yeah, it's more programming. it was made in java.

  • Pretty nice soft body physics for a java program. did you use internal springs?

  • yes, in this version. however, i have stopped doing soft body physics by putting springs inside the polygon, as there are quite a few very good reasons not to use springs.

  • can you kill them? jk

  • How chewy.

  • omg I would love to play around with this, looks awesome man

  • It looks similar to the jello engine

  • well, mine was here first. :)

  • Hi man this looks really fun :D, are you the kotsoft from fun motion? If so hiya mate!

  • yeah, that's me.

  • damnit, i can't even get a grip on poly collision detection! really cool though, you should do something with it.

  • what's the game called?

  • this was just an old experiment. i never finished it into a game.

  • i so want it it loooks fun

  • aww theyre so cute

  • no, it's just a little physics demo. it's not an actual game.

  • I love games based on physics... you say you wanna make it into a game with weapons and stuff, you could add little swords and have them pop each other, or puddles that melt them. But other than that i cant imagine much. It seems like it'd be like the sand sand sand! things

  • thanks that was really helpful

  • dude when ur finished w/ this game PLZ send me a link, also i think it would be pretty cool if u could control some fo the slimes, or if u could make another part of the game where u could throw them around

  • u should make it so like if u hold space he sticks on the wall

  • yo, I love this kind of stuff... Can you basically tell me how you coded this ? (by the way, I code in C)

  • ive seen this, its called loco rocco for PSP

  • i've never heard of loco roco before, but it looks like a cool game. i had no idea i was copying loco roco.

  • AHHH!!! sciece~~!!!!!! >.<

    I hate that class xD

  • dude your game is pretty sweet. you should make the map bigger with more guns though. but pretty sweet

  • here's a little game made with the engine. (i guess this is an engine because i have a slime class and a poly class and it's able to extend to a lot of uses) it's for two players.

    slimegames[dot]googlepages[dot]com/SlimeTactics[dot]htm

  • by the way, every body that is looking to become a game developer, it is important when you're doing tutorials that you don't just copy and paste the code. doing so will hinder your ability to derive things by your self.

  • how do you make games like that, do you know what is it called to make for games for a carrer because i want to learn how to do that

  • That was awesome man. Could I please get your email?
