@RisingForZero u just need to put autotune as an insert effect on your vocals... its like putting any other effect on a channel :P all you need is autotune ^^
I was going to ask if you could add ISRC codes to the master CD but I just saw where you can input them in the video WOW! so easy, i'm really falling in love with PreSonus stuff.
Now, if one could integrate analog gear into this setup, we'd be rollin'. Does one have to use the hardware loop with the program in track production mode, or is it possible to create recordable tracks in the mastering mode, before doing the disc-sequencing? I don't see any record arm buttons?
i am still having alot of difficulty with live recording and playback, no matter what i try i can never hear any sort of play back. Using the Pre Sonus AudioBox USB with 2 condenser mics can anyone help with this problem
I'm already used all the suggestions from the Presonus site for Vista, (which allows a better workflow on your PC) but no luck... HELP PLEASEEEEEEEE...
HELP! PLEASE SOMEBODY HELP! I'm trying Presonus S1 and Presonus Firestudio Tube with a HP Laptop with nice RAM (6Gb almost all of it is free), and a good processor, but I'm getting a lot of stopping, popping and latency issues... should I use Google Asio4all? do you think this is a ASIO driver problem?
@VictorGl3z It could be your firewire port. I record with an HP laptop too and that's what was wrong with mine. Try using an express card. That's what I did and I haven't had one problem since.
@danman7592 Thanks for the suggestion... i quitted using the HP 'cause never found a viable solution, and had to buy a Mac, it sucks I know, but i was desperate to roll with my small studio, and oh well, inversion is already paid. But thanks!
I don't use protools and don't think I ever will. Overrated in my opinion. Just because its the standard in the music industry doesn't mean its the best. Recently added this program to my collection and would definitely recommend this to others. Everything in it is very easy to use and intuitive. No complex crap or mumbo jumbo stuff. Within thirty minutes of trying it I already was making stuff. Don't use the built in instruments, I recommend Rewire Reason or FL to it.
Love it, but having trouble using the Guitar LE plug in. Perhaps its because I'm using a Dell Lap top with only 2GB ram and a hard drive with only 68GB ram 60% full. Sounds like latency issues and the volume goes in and out. Probably need a better computer I imagine, but I'm stoked! Just finishing my first song ever on a DAW.
Thanks for your help on this. I'm actually using the Presonus USB Audiobox and the ASIO driver that came with it. So I'm bypassing my soundcard altogether. Still having issues using that Guitar LE plug in. It's bumming me out!
There should be a way to help latency issue at a small compromise, if your having trouble, don't hesitate to contact them.I haven't had any problem with there techs so far. Try emailing them first if u don't want to wait on the phone. They'll ask you to send them your computer stats which is pretty easy. I upgraded to Snow Leopard which doesn't run well on Cubase le now I cant record on input 1&2 but not complaining since I qualify for free copy of studio one which Leopard does supports.
I stopped at 1:39. I had to cry. ;) Im so thankful. Finally. Finally. Someone is thinking. Finally something for us that is useful and not just cool and somehow sellable. All these years without any sort of something thats being worth called "workflow" ... and now ... HOPE! :) Hardly looking forward to a real useable version! :)
My second day on using studio one, i spent a couple of hours on this last night & think i have the basics locked down now, this software keeps on suprising me, im starting to really enjoy using it. . i hav'nt really tried to install or use my VSTi plugins on this yet, so if anyone out there has or knows how then let me knw. .
Sorry ppl but i just been reading some of ur comments. . to "dragonstyle79" good assumetion.Lol. . there midi control is exclnt, quick & easy. to "mixc8 " i dont think Pro Tools has anything to worry about just yet , but for a hardware company who has just jumped in to the DAW software DOMAIN they have defntly started out on the right foot. . .
iv already got the full version & let me tell u its not a bad progm, its kinda refreshing. the key commands can be a bit trying at first. its got some good FX's & the device set up & control services set up are so easy to use. . . id give it 8/10, seeing as i got my full edition for "Nuthin"
how did you get a demo? forget cubase and the damn dongle which taxes the cpu bec of back and forth communication ....studio one has no dongle so i think its gonna be a daw killer ...cant wait for the full version i called them it should be out in stores in a month
THIS LOOKS AMAZING. THey should however give you this free when you buy a device of theres over £300, software companys are going downhill, money is in hardware not software anymore. What better reason to buy there hardware than giving the customer a DAW thats amazing. They will regret not going down this route if they don't apply this soon.
it does support re wire which would enable it to work with reason or anything else that supports re wire.... in the future, just look for the re wire hint on any software. That makes it not only compatible with studio one... but other software like abbleton, and etc that will make this a super engine as well!!
how can I have my waves do where they aren't in sync and can move anywhere, cause when I copy and past my hooks it snaps to every line

Really? Why is that everyone that I know using FLoops use other apps like Audition
for mastering? FLoops got fine pattern editor's and finally useful playlist in v10.
but other then that it's hardly "been there done that".

Well 2GB of RAM is totally fine and your HArddrive doesnt matter one bit if its latency it is your soundcard.
Google Asio4all its free it is a soundcard driver just download it and I bet you your latency and cutting out problems will never return
