  • :)) lol

  • nice i have an ej22 in my legacy lol

  • Mad Engineers Rule....!!

  • my subaru had an EJ182 and it was suprisingly powerful for a 1.8 liter, and registered at 140 mph.

  • IFR PLANE CANT SEE OUT THE WINDOW.

  • Would you like a plane with your engine?

  • Woah

  • How about actually seeing it fly... Parachute not included!

  • EAA...Experimental Amateur Association.

  • WTF is a burnbox? is this diesel?

  • Jesus man... lol

  • Ugly motherf****ker

  • do you have to shift? lol xD

    but seriously Do you???

  • human ingenuity.. SCIENCE!

  • looks weird and different, but inventive, we need more people like you.

  • 449.059 !!!! more then twenty times saw by me!! excelent! dreams come true!!!

  • DIdn't Subaru build helicopter engines?

  • only in Kazakhstan..

  • As it is a Subaru motor, it will more than likely explode at 15,000 feet. No fucking way would i fly in this thing.

  • Slide show, automatic thumbs down.

  • IF you kept all your turbo's HOT by keeping them on short pipes, inline, insulated with lagging and out of the wind, and only cooled the oil coming out of them, I'd imagine that there should be more boost and instead of having to artificially feed the third one.

  • I don't see 3 turbo's, I detect one and see one.

  • 0:19 looks like midway

  • So you want to break the sound barrier.

  • Looks like it was built by special needs children!

  • I just see 1 turbo. Where are the other 2? Congratulation for your project.

  • Comment removed

  • Who do you land or take if u cant see? There is a huge engine in the wind shield

  • @cheddar1100 Charles Linburg inspire me - he also flue with no window in front!

  • @kazakhpilot Hi mate..good project. how is the high altitude performance and are u sticking to factory ECU??

  • @kazakhpilot

It still does not mean it was smart

  • @cheddar1100 Lindberg used a mirror -easy solution.

  • @cheddar1100 Very easy solution: Lindberg used a mirror.

  • @AlphaRadeon Certainly not impossible in any way.

  • @Tjita1

Oh yeah, flying on a wooden light weight plane with a car engine at about 30,000 feet above an a airport is perfectly possible...and legal.

Cmon dude get real, the plane doesnt even have any doors, and flying that high would rip the plane apart with turbulence, not to mention the oxygen and pressure up there.

  • @Tjita1

flying at about 30,000 feet above an airport is both impossible and illegal

  • it is not covered in front

  • is this Subaru WRX STi FLYING version?

  • what's the name of the song please

  • your plane plays music ! cooool...

  • Why not just use airplane engine? Would be cheaper and better...

  • Should have posted it on 1st of April, shame enough some people actially believe this 3 turbo 10000 meter burnbox crap. I fly at 11.000m plus for business, give me a wave when you fly by without oxygen in your lawn-mower :-)

  • She blinded me with science!!

  • i wanna see moving clips of it taking off and landing

  • YES! i bet that thing sounds BEAST!

  • plumbers nightmare

  • A Subaru engine? if it's anything like my buddies engine I wouldn't trust it on the ground much less a couple hundred feet off the ground.

  • Did that start out as so sort of a kit? the root part of the wing looks like a 701( I think ?) it looks light ! 3 turbos WOW! rolling take off 2 feet! HA HA! straight up!

  • @indianchief741 Yes it is zenair ch 701 i builded from skratch (with the drawing)

  • dude thoes are some sweet cold air intakes

  • woww :) very nice, would enjoy to see footage of it :D

  • how to install a bird-smashin' food processor to the front of a plane.......

  • is it AWD? XD

  • Are you still alive.

  • You could say that is a fucking slideshow!!

  • Noo it wont crash, its a subaru, not toyota where the gas gets stuck wide open XDD!!

  • your cunting nuts to fly that thing

  • Subaru engine? must be good at off-roading!

  • @Sidowse

    power slides corners effortlessly.

  • Thanks for sharing your aircraft, I find it inspiring, keep up the creative work.

  • plane is kinda sketchy

  • @EthansOpinion92 Lol it must just dive down cause of the engine

  • wow you really give your live in the hand of this thing...this is so cool

  • haha a subaru engine

    you will crash

  • @nvtuning , do some search and find that subaru engine has been use in light sport airplanes and now some people introduce honda civic engines as well

  • i wouldnt fly a homemade aircraft let alone fly it THAT high... you have guts lol

  • BAD ASS

  • Thats quite a monster up front....

  • Hi: Question for EVERYBODY that can help me. what year(s) suburu car types of cars and engines that was"universal" and was use for homemade/ultralight aircraft ty for you input and help,as I am trying to get an engine to gater to put in an homebuilt.this is my next project tks!!!

  • What's a burn box? Awesome shots, low earth orbit? You must have some serious warm clothes. Congrats on this fun machine.

  • so if it's a Subaru than it is 4WD.... lamo =))

    anyhow it is nice

  • I own a Subaru. You're crazy.

  • i have an sti motor with a single turbo doing 450 whp i want to use it in a plane or helicopter... i like the way you did yours looks great and the 3 turbo setup is sweet and great for high altitude.

  • that is so cool... how is it going now, what altitude are you getting? Nitrous injection for the next step :-) or maybe some kind of rocket booster.

  • Free Energy is real and it's here! The Big Oil companies r doing everything they can to stop this

information. If you want a Free energy magnet motor , get the blueprints at LT-MAGNET-MOTORdotCOM , Join the

    revolution!

  • Cant possibly be approved by FAR 23 and certainly does not meet req. for 91.205 i am guessing haha. Special flight permit from the FSDO is the only way this baby would fly. And you don't need doors to fly, its more fun that way :)

  • Looks dangerous. I like it.

  • wooooowwww

  • wow nice i saw one in Cuba with motorcycle engine :) and work

  • Needs more plumbing.

  • I've seen this plane take off at SUA and this pilot must be going for the world record shortest ground roll and steepest climb. Its amazing to watch. Needs to video a takeoff and put it up for everyone to see.

  • Shit im making a airplane now to fly in after seeing this where did I put my pile of news papers at!

  • GOOOOOOOOOOOD !

  • hey tey told the wright boys the same thing! hope to see next project

  • you could blow up an engine with NO turbo, why 3?

  • @davetileguy at high altitude, air is thin, you need three turbos to compress enough air to maintain useful combustion inside the engine. At sea level, I'm sure only one is needed

  • Hahahah that looks so sketchy

  • take that engine out and put it back into a WRX where it belongs. Kill urself in a car like normal people!

  • @addz17 Booooo! Do over! If it wasn't for the spirit of invention and the spirit of flight, all our asses would still be riding in a horse and buggy! This dude made something cool. Ya gotta appriciate that.

  • I'm amazed at how many people can't spell LoL.

  • Very Cool... Not an easy thing to build at all

  • What an ugly & unsafe looking contraption!

  • song? ive heard a cover of it b4

  • HAHA you cant even see r tard

  • Awesome use of the motor!! Maybe you could change airframe for pusher application and better forward view.

  • You must be the record for altitude! Your photos seem to have been taken by satellite. I have flown for twenty minutes 12000FT with the engine 2si! I was curious, what is the ground speed (gs) that your Zenair reached? Your project is excellent! When I haul skydivers keep the door of the pilot. It is very cold. How do you get? I come down with the idling speed cornering large slope and keep 80 MPH. 4curves to the right, 4left turns and so on. Congratulations, great aircraft! what rate of climb?

  • Does the plane come complete with rock music or is that extra...like advanced avionics?

  • How the helll do you see out the front when flying?

  • does the altitude effect the turbo?

  • @xXFocusRecord more in reverse, due to the altitude, the piston engine needs a turbo to compress the air enough to maintain normal pressures inside the engine

  • @xXFocusRecord well, the turbos affect the altitude ;p

  • 10k metres and no doors? This guy has gone mental.

  • @polyvox83 well you see the trick is to not fall out :)

  • do you need permits of any sort to fly a plane that you handmade and can you only fly in certain areas?

  • aero was my primary concern

  • What about turning it upside down , so the pipes run below the seats to keep buts warm at high altituds and improve front vision . LOL

  • u sir r an idiot that thing wold be so front havy that must be bitch to fly

  • @MMprotopaintball20 He's an idiot? You can't even spell. Go back to 1st grade you stupid fucking moron.

  • Thats retarded.

  • Next time, sky dive without a parachute, it's safer...

  • can u see whats in front of you!!!!!!!!??

  • thats a wicked zenith Ch701 dude 5/5

  • zenith CH701 with nightmare engine on it

  • Stick a nitro too.

  • ru on drugs this thing is fuckn stupid!! ruind a perfectly good airplane

  • i really think thats awesome! are the turbos off a diesel? ive seen subaru svx engines 3.3 turbo in airplane, but an ej22 is interesting. how much boost psi? what gas octane? how high can u you go?

  • wow its dangerous to fly in that

  • Um how can he possibly see out the windshield...?

  • @ReCkLeSsGaRcIa exactly what i was thinkin :s

  • epic song lol.. brings back memories

  • sink or swim. what would happen if a bird went in the air intake???. yes thats rite. u be in a helicopter lol to hospital or morgue .ryan air is safer lol

  • @vinnykilgannon if a bird flew into the intake then the same would happen to any plane, the engine would be shot, just like that plane in new york or somewhere that a goose flew into its turbine. Luckily the pilot knew what he was doing and was able to land it.

  • ... Sooooo a schitt .....

  • If ur planing to regester that thing as an experemental. That thing will never pass inspection sry, improve it a little and we'll see. Do you have a liscense.

  • the whole Idea of an experimental project is that it does not need to pass any inspections. You have to have a clearly posted "experimental aircraft" warning to carry passengers and you normally only fly by yourself.

  • wtf is that! :S

  • Umm... cowling?

  • it probably dont fit : )

  • probably doesnt need the wings to fly lol. could prob. do the the whole verticile take off thing with that engine

  • wtf !

  • does it fly, and is it legal?

  • Legal in America? No... FAA would never license this thing.

  • no and no!

  • more cowbell!

  • Wow, 10k meters +, lets see some video from up there, I hope you have oxygen

  • He hasn't ever been off the ground in it - there are no videos.

  • lol yes he did

  • that thing looks janky as hell.... like a riced out Civic fucked a Cessna.

  • So true, do you see any visibility problems?

  • OMG its high ^_^..

  • I will like to see the engine cowling... will be like Lindberg's plane. i dont think it flies, too heavy for a 701...

  • climbrate ??! :D

  • Rice burner airplane LOLOL put a 454 in that mother.

    nice job though

  • Now you just need a periscope to see

  • @bushpilot50 lol

  • Their r alot of misinterpretations on sum comments, history, n use everyone is bickering about in relation to turbo chargers. U need to check ur resources!

  • mhhhh not sure i'd fly this plane, nice project tough congratulations

  • dude... subaru already did make planes. well engines for sure. Fuji .. Thats how they started.. lol

  • Subaru should make planes!

  • Subaru did make planes but they werent brave enough to use their own engines: they fitted Lycomings (despite car salesmen claiming the boxer engine was from the aero factory)

  • do ya have courage enough to fly in this???

DAMMIT! i'd rather parachute with 2 legs broken... (just kiddin' - or not Oo')

  • Looks like he does given the pictures in the video.

  • Catch The Pigeon, Catch The Pigeon

    ghhhhghhhhhghghghgh

  • Is this geared to be a turbo normalizer for higher altitudes or just to accomodate a more agressive prop for higher climb rates. Have you done the necessary engineering to know where that airframes Vne is in relations to the higher altitudes? Id like to know some statistics on this. Ie what gains did you get on the climb rate and what kind of take off roll does it have.

  • The Spirit of St. Louis has more visibility than this. :)

  • Why didn't you post the climb rate?

I guess you'll not done tweaking

  • Red Neck-Hill-Billy aircraft. Those exhaust port will melt the windscreen! Couldnt get me to ride down the runway with that shitbox. Must be from Iran!

  • How do you deal with ATC and jet traffic at those flight levels?

  • Dude! What's the ceiling on that?

  • it must sound sweeet

  • Looks like lots of turbo's and not much else, think i'd feel more comfortable walking :-)

  • How much horsepower has the engine got?

  • lol i dont think alot people know this but Subaru was originally was a airplane engine manufacture

  • does it even have doors???

  • Doors? For What?

  • doors for the cocpit of the plane.....

  • @derderpaintballguy oh sure...a plane without door..unbelievable:D how should this fly...

  • Nice! It would be awesome if you posted a video of it, it's an awesome plane!

  • awesomely awesome.

  • awesomely awesome

  • Wish you would show video, love to hear it !

  • NICE!

  • well done m8 u really made a good effort 0_0

  • What did the ALT read?

  • how do you see where the heck you are going?

  • It's cold up there! Hope you wore your long jons.

  • i would make a cover for that engine to get back some efficiency.. nice ride tho!!

  • Garbage builds like this give homebuilders a bad name.

  • where are the 2 other turbos?

  • nice bird man,but i wanna see it flying plz!

  • i wanna hear it run! lol

  • probly wrx sence the sti is ej257

  • New heights of stupidity!
