My room mate and I did this in our dorm room too! It works for sure, but it's not a long term fix.

@iAubreyy Hmmmm im not too sure what to do in that situation. what you might wanna try is slipping the fabric softener through the slits in the vent, so that its on the inside, and possible tape both end to the vent. the tape wont cause a fire or anything, unless your heat is on ridiculously high. but that might work.

You can also put car air vent fresheners in your room's air vents. Seems like that would be just as effective.

Another way to make your room smell amazing is to mash some herbs together (like rosemary, thyme, lemongrass, mint etc.), add some water to the mix and put it in a small plastic box with a small hole in the lid, so the smell could come out slowly. now you have a natural air freshener :)

hmmmm that ones a toughy.... i guess maybe if you dont dust ur room too often, you could try doing that. i know that makes ur room smell fresher. if you have any perfumes you could spray those around. some of my friends also use car freshners. those seem to work pretty well.(:

yeah i figured out if u spray perfume on an unlit bulb and then lit it, d smell will kinda flow through all d room as d bulb gets warmer ..it rly worked for me :)
