subaru team and solberg is having a huge language barrier, if he was better in english he probably could have given the subaru team better input on the car. If he tries to communicate or ask them to change the setup of the car they will most like interpret it the wrong way and therefor mess his driving ability up. Communication was the downfall of his subaru carrer

Det er interessant å legge merke til at mesteparten av de som kommenterer, er norske, og at de fleste både kommenterer og svarer på engelsk selv om begge er norske. Og da er det selvfølgelig kjempemorsomt å gjøre narr av engelsken hans. Men det rare er at nesten ingen utlendinger, som jeg vet om, bryr seg noe særlig om det.

To be honest, Norway is on of the countries in the world who learns the best English in school! When the generations grow older, Norway will be almost as good as England in speaking.

petter isn't representative though, his English is terrible. We are a small country and have to deal on the international market so I guess that's party why we keep getting better. To speak like a Brit we will never learn though, because those people hardy mean half of what they say with their skin deep niceties. Arrogant people in trade, Americans though are much more straight up and jovial.

We Norwegians need to learn not to translate directly to English to make sure not to hurt the brits.
