  • i think of mrs.jackons to lose a child is a pain you cannot discribe.i srill have all of my children i cannot imagine her pain.not because micheal was who he was but this is for all mothers who have lost a child and are left with this misery.ir happens every day.young black men stop killing each other stop making mothers suffer,

  • a beautiful song. like really, music like that need to here today. but i am glad that music like this is still around for youngsters like us can learn and enjoy.

  • Someone went caps crazy... Must've been yelling the letters while typing... Thats ok its the J5 I wouldve been excited too

  • I like this version but your wrong Troop did it justice and a much better rendition not to take away from MJ the King of POP!!!! or the Jackson 5.

  • This reminds me of that special girl you try to work up all the confidence to talk to but as soon as she passes your heart starts pounding and when you try to say hi you just can't do it. why can't I talk to her!

  • This song applies to me. A lot.

Michael is amazing, in my mind he was perfect, he was the King, not just the King of Pop, but the King. It`s only my opinion, please don`t argue. Make love not war. L.O.V.E ♥

  • b5 did not do if 2nd the troop did then b5 dumb ass ppl

  • BIG UP's to B5 but they will never be like the ORIGIONALS!!!!!!!!!

  • @smoothrasin Neither was Jackson 5 but each group put their personal flavor into the song which makes them all unique.

  • Yeah, so B5 didnt do the best job with this song. But J-Dilla....now thats a differnt story :D

  • This song was perfect for Michael and his feelings.

  • Michael is the true king! there was never a doubt about it!

All those that opposed and neglected him as king should be ashamed!

their big mouths and stupidity has cause nothing but gossips, rumours and bad stuff!

    Damn the media and haters!

  • i like b5 betta!!!

  • unmatched beauty. please bring back motown...pleeease. I mean listen the melodies and harmonies. Oh..my...

  • Dilla is the fucking MAN

  • I remember alot of people was hating on M.J.,Didn't want to admit he was the King.Believing all the negative hype.Upon his death,The world show up and gave him his crown. Now everyone knows, theres no doubt about it!Rip M.J.!

  • badddd mutha fucka yall lukadat sexxxay assszzz nigggaaaaaww yalwwwl 4 reel rip cutie hope 2 c u at da gate babe.

  • I LUV U MICHAEL JACKSON!! R.I.P!

  • I WOULD SAY MICHAEL JACKSON SINGING BY HIS IS BETTER THAN WITH THE JACKSON 5. ON THIS SONG

  • I like all three versions of the song. Jackson 5, Troop, B5 They all sound good to me. rip michael jackson!!!!!!

  • I Didn't Know The Jackson 5 Made This Song Until I Heard A Radio DJ In Houston Texas On Houston Majic 102.1FM Marco Spoon On The Quiet Storm Said That The Jackson5 Had Made This Song. For The Longest Time I Thought The Group Troop Made This Song,All In All They Covered It.

  • The weird thing about this song is that this is the first time i've ever heard original.

  • wow that drawing at 1.20 is the most beautiful i've ever seen of MJ!! great song btw, and thumbs up for the one who put this together!! :D

  • J Dilla Sample 0:13 - 0:29

    BEAST TRACK!!!

  • i thought onlii b5 waz da onlii one who had dis song MJ u da best even wen dey said u waz gay i aint belive it mann my dawg fucked up

  • no idea this was michael jackson originally. i'm pretty mad i wont ever be able to see him perform in person. :(

  • beautiful song. i wish i could sing it to michael because that's how i feel.

  • theress soo many remakes of this songg , b5, lil corey... .. if u search lil core all i do it featuress michael jackson i really think thats the best versionn and pluss michael jackson was in it so <3!!! this one is amazing tooo thoughh!!

  • 4uMICHAELJACKSONRIP:

i thank u so much 4 sharin this video. i luv the photos (u have gotta tell me where u got them from). as 4 the song I LUV IT!!!! i never knew bout it b n sung by MICHAEL 1ST til my brother told me (5/2010). i knew of it but by troop. MICHAELS IS WAY BETTER & is 1 of my favorites. its so beautiful & i luv how his voice sounds. like the song all i do is think of u (michael). u truly r missed. RIP

  • wow - what a tune... and dilla flipped this hard on "time: the donuts of the heart"

    RIP MJ & DILLA!

p.s. MJ DILLA - perfect name for a mashup mixtape?

  • @adaryanani such an amazing song

  • DANG...i always thought that this was TROOP's Song...They did a GREAT job redoing it...and i thought troop jazzed up the break down part but its still similar to Micheal..Great song..Im shocked Jackson 5 sang it first..

  • Damn i miss him soooo much : (

  • I love this song, Troop cover was a good cover of this song

  • WOW! This song is enchanted. I am in love with you, and I think the world of you, MJ.

  • WOW i never knew this was Michael ,this is like my all time favorite slow jam it's so innocent young or old you can play this and slow dance with your sweetheart !!

  • The Chorus sounds too fkin koo on this one...i love dis shit..

  • I like the Troop rendition of this song but B5 totally screwed it up. I didn't even know that J5 sang it originally until my dad told me. This is by far the best. R.I.P MIchael.

  • I bet a lot of people don't realize the Jaskson 5's sang this.

  • @dainanda123 i didnt either... i thought b5 wrote nd sang this song

  • @dainanda123 People can forget all these comparisons cause they mean nothing. Michael Jackson Had this effect on fans when there were no videos, Just the music. Mike was still Kickin it years after . If B5 or Troop were the real Deal they would have lasted along with Mike but as history shows... Need I say More

  • @arichmofo And by the way Theres no video for this song . you can actually close your eyes and get the same feeling just listening to it as you get from watching a music video Most of todays performers use the videos to distract from the fact they can't really deliver on their own. If I close my eyes & listen to b5s version I get nothing from it. It's just allright at best. Thats what most people didn''t realize. If you took all the technology away Mike could still blow away a crowd .

  • @arichmofo And plus, the ONLY HIT that Troop had was the song that they stole for the JACKSON 5...Thats how u KNOW that Troop really wasnt all that talented and couldnt come up with their OWN SONGS to make HITS!!! THerefore....Troop is a ONE HIT WONDER!!! lol... MJ and J5 ALL THE WAY BABY!!! :)

  • I agree they didnt mess it up i love that song but NO ONE can match the jackson 5 period!!!!

  • Ripped?

  • @BigKay07 Ripped

  • Jermain is ripped and he aint even the oldest

  • This song is amazing. It has one of the best beats of all time. I can jam to this song, i can sing with it, This song touches me so deeply.

  • Personally i think the chorus song is SOO dope.

  • i ukn love dis song

  • This Makes Meeh Wanna Cry For Some Reason :(

Hahaa , But I Love This Song ! Michael Can Really Sing . .

B5 Messed This Song Up ! Lol .

  • this song is so romantic!!!!

  • sorry but you are tripping if you think any other version can mess with the original, no one can duplicate or sound anything like MJ and the J5 as good as troop sounds they sounded like every other R&B group of the 90's and B5 is just garbage. This version is the most official

  • J DIlla sampled this for his instrumental Time-Donut of the Heart

  • Sorry, J5 got this...handsdown!

  • Comment removed

  • I miss you, Michael and I'll love you eternally. ♥♥♥

  • Wow and I thought Troop was the originators of this song.

  • I did too!!! Wow!

  • thats all i do since june 25 09!!

  • classic song r.i.p. mj

  • I like this version more than B5's.

  • @ciaragal95 true but i lik b5 beat more better

  • The beat is almost identical in my opinion lol. This one is funkier and their's is like more hip-hop

  • this version song like they mean what they say.

    love this version.

  • anything came out of michaels mouth was good but of course but B5 did not do a good job on this song i hated this video troop was way better

  • This sounds real...like they poured their souls into it!! I love it!!!!

  • lovely

  • i jus said troop killed this song...then jackson 5 ...then lil corey...buh MJ will always be a legend

  • Yeah I agree, not that The Jackon's wasn't good, MJ killed this song as well, but Troop as a group evolved the song therefore making it sound more up to par, both versions very well done though. Didn't like B5's versions one bit.

  • at 2:02 that tiger cub is so cute/sexy

  • ima need yall to not fight about stuff thanks luv the vid

  • I never knew they had covered this! This is a cover right,I'm pretty sure if it was an offical Jackson 5 song,I would have known by now! I love to hear Michael sing one of my most favorite R&B sings ever, esp. being known s such a Pop Star!

  • @TheLovelylove

The J5 were the original singers. This was released either in 1974 or 1975.

  • Great Song. Nuff Said.

  • This is one of the truly great Motown Ballads. I see that Eddie Holland (Holland Dozier Holland) is credited as a writer. The man is a living legend.

The verse, the hook, the b section, and the refrain are top shelf as well as the performance and instrumentation.

  • Wow, I had forgotten about this song........Thanks

    A really beautiful song.

  • i love this song

    and i love micheal jackson

    he brought music to life

  • This is a gem. Michael Jackson as a young adult proving that shivelry isn't dead.

  • I use to play this song over and over again when I was on punishment as a child. I didn't mind going to my room, because me and Mike would jam all night long. Such great memories! Love you Michael!!!!!

  • OMG I looovvveee this song! This sounds so better than the b5 one!!

  • @ThEuNtOuChAbLeDiVaS well, both versions got catchy tunes! J5 & B5 RULEZ!!!!

  • Yea, people laughed because I'm a man and I LOVED the B5 version when It came out, They they felt like Jackasses when I educated them and told then about Troop, and even Further back, Jackson 5. Good Music is Good Music, and Having B5 make a modern version was a VERY smart move, because it was a big hit, and They have talent, so it was a good song. Just because it's targeted for younger people doesnt mean that it ISN'T good, it just means that it was made for a certain audience.

  • @jerzeyrunnerflash b5? it wasnt a big hit nobody cared about b5 they last 2 mins in this industry lol.this version and troop versions clearly better

  • Ohhh, well then in that case, I guess your opinion is right and the other couple of million of people that bought B5's CD is wrong. Sorry to ever have questioned your annointed opinion.

  • couple a million lol hell out of here.

  • what is the problem? why can't anyone just look it up instead of making snyde comments. Shit I didnt buy a couple million and attent their concerts personally, i just researched the info

  • @jerzeyrunnerflash spice girls sold a couple of million also.the point is b5 just another after thought r and b great

  • You're right, I guess since they aren't popular ANY MORE, then I guess the entire world just IMAGINED that they DID sell millions of records. It's all a figment of imagination, especially the millions of people who ACTUALLY bought the cd. Music is the state it's in because of people like you. here's your mentality. "If it didn't JUST come out 15 minutes ago, then it's not good." So I guess Elvis' music was no good because he recorded 50 years ago? NO He sold millions because he made good music.

  • @jerzeyrunnerflash lol what elvis is all time great and his music is timless.thats my point b5 music is not timeless and it will never be.elvis jackson 5 etc are all time greats.b5 just another boy band that didnt last for very long.yea they had moderate sucess but so did vanilla ice lol.thats my point they are one hit wonders

  • Ok, so you're arguing a point that I DIDN'T make. I never said B5 were "timeless" or "legendary". I just said that they sold Millions of records, and thats a fact. That doesn't meant that they didn't make good music, just ask the millions who bought their CD. It just means that not everyone can be Michael Jackson and The Beatles.

  • Well for one, even though they went mainstream, their success is still an after thought. 2, boy bands is at the tip of the ice berg this day in age, knowone really cares for them anymore, ever since b2K, boy bands has become very irrelevent. They may have sold more than 2 million units, but worldwide, they are not that attractive to the media, despite if they make good music, it's not appealing to proly 40-60% of to audiences.

  • Maybe to U, but b5's version wasn't that good to me, and quite frankly if U ask 100 ppl on here about their opinion more than likely it will be "it was aight" or "who is B5". B5 is clearly irrelevent now, just like montez pointed they are just another boy band through a revolving door.

  • Ok so because YOU didn't enjoy it, I guess They REALLY didnt SELL AS MANY MILLIONS of albums as they did and it was just a figment of the worlds imagination. Since YOU didn't dig it, I guess the MILLIONS of people who bought B5's CD are wrong and YOU are right.

  • I'm not saying ur wrong, or i'm right, but B5 is not a great product to send out there for #1 success. They may have great music, and still sell millions, but legend status is WAY out of their league. Like Ginuwine for example is one of my favorite R&B artist, and till dis day I still think he is one Usher's level, but he will never go down as legend to the world for his music, an after thought to others.

  • I can concur...Troop did a better version than B5. they just like any other manufactured boy/ girl group that come and go these days

  • TROOP did it most righteously!

  • TROOP did well, but the lead vocals had no originality. Every run and add-lib was the same.....Almost lol

  • I Luv The Pic when all their shirts r off. NO!! Dont b pervertd. I just like it cuz it is different from all the other pics I got.

  • b5 messed ths song up!!

  • they didn't do that bad. i used to be obsessed with b5, i LOVED the beat to that song.

but jackson five, simply cannot be matched.

  • I agree :)

  • @Mochakidd I realized that also

  • @Apathy132 so true they did a bad job.

  • great song!

I think many r&b artist of our time were inspired by michael´s way of singing.

he´s the best, I love him so much.

  • I love you forever, Michael <3 R.I.P

Where did you get the photo at 2:51? I really like it. It's gorgeous.

  • I can't remember the website but I'm going to find it for you and send it to you :-)

  • I love that photo too!

Could you also send it to me?

That would be very nice! :)

  • @TastiiCake18 I too would love to know where that photo is from!

  • @TastiiCake18 mp3 lyrics [:

  • Mike and Jermaine just slam the vocals here -- so sweet.

  • This came out when I was ten and I still love it. Long live the Jackson 5, who were the soundtrack of my youth.

  • damn damn ........Now I want to cry.

  • I know Hal Davis produced this, but it favors Gamble/Huff or Thom Bell a bit.

  • great song when i was in jr high school i thought it was troops song never knew mike song it tell a few years later...

  • I just recently found out that it was Mike's and it has become one of my favorite songs
