  • What, no ufo blobs outside of the station? Lol

  • The russians don't want you to be there.

  • you have some great stuff here

  • very interesting video thanks

  • love the work here

  • i enjoyed this vid

  • love the video really good

  • you have some great stuff here

  • how much oxygen do they have ?

  • Anyone know the name of the song that starts at 12:40?

  • @Jeeves641 the song is Piano Concerto in A Minor, Op. 16. Composed in 1868 and revised in 1907 by Edvard Grieg.

  • See you space cowboy o7

  • That looks like so much fun!!!

  • I wish 'normal' camera's could pick up all the stars that astronauts would be able to see.

  • Cant help smiling while I watch this video...the accomplishment of these individuals and everyone involved, as well as how far we've come as an intellectual species makes me happy. :) Cant wait to see what else there is to discover!

  • where can I find the unedited version of this video?

  • How come in these types of videos you never see any footage of the sun while they are in orbit? Can anybody answer this for me? Thanks!

  • @TheSuperbaked Look at 2:07 in this video. The bright light in the lower left corner is the sun.

  • This is awesome. thanx SpaceRip

  • At 7:00, look at that ladies hair. So that's how Princess Leia did it?

  • @spergman actually the space shuttles and the science to send astronauts to space is the most complicated science in the world. NASA is a SPACE PROGRAM. Get the picture? You want real science done you get your ass to a university. I'm going to major in physics at JHU rated 13th best school in the USA and then was going to work at NASA and I'm offended by what you just said. Space in beautiful. It should be explored. Amen.

  • Freee energy for all Its a A dream M8's!The humans are too egoists to share and do the rihgts things and too noobs to understand tha our filosofi of life its wrong! We are a violent kind so..nothing good in front of us! Its just my opinion i hope is not a fact!

  • religion has no place in space, let alone earth. fucking pope...

  • Now that we're finished throwing money into this particular money pit, maybe we'll get some more real science done. It's really amazing how well NASA has done with science, on a shoestring budget, while simultaneously hemorrhaging half its budget into this useless running in place exercise. The hemorrhage is to continue. TX and FL demand the pork. But at least the new manned space plan is not *totally* purposeless. Good bye, Shuttle program. And good riddance. Let's do some science.

  • I always want to visit space want to look at earth from there

  • 07:35 Inter Milano jersey!!

  • how come you cant see any of the stars?

  • dont mind us where just floating by.

  • Man, if I went to space I'd play with my food and say 'take that mum!'. I'd also throw shit down at the earth....somehow I don't think I'd be allowed in space.

  • HAPPY MARS DAY, SPACERIP!

  • Absolutely amazing, how can anyone dislike this.

    Thank you

  • If humans were a unified planetary species, without the anchors of religion, racism, and war. If we had all of Earth's resources and scientists working together our progress would be limitless. MY dream is to see a unified Earth, because if everything was a 6 billion person effort, nothing would be impossible.

  • @skatemonkey16 Agreed!

  • space trips me the fuck out

  • i saw a ufo at 1:57

  • @15firekid Yes, you're right! It's like something goes out from the space shuttle when they open it...

  • I l like that gal's hairdo

  • What, no holodecks?

  • i really feel for all the americans that are going to lose their jobs once the shuttle program ends soon, especially for all the ones that trained to be astronauts for so long. i can only imagine how they feel after dreaming to be astronauts for so long only to have their dreams crushed by shuttle missions ceasing. the only option i could see for them is to move to another country and be astronauts for another country's shuttle program, if that's even allowed.

  • you know, i always wondered how astronauts are able to keep food and liquids down in zero gravity. must take alot of training and practice to keep from regurgitating food all over the place.

  • i dont see any sleeping quarters anywhere, i wonder how people sleep without floating around and bumping into walls or one another. must be difficult to get much sleep at all in zero gravity.

  • its amazing how they were able to establish a constant breathable atmosphere on a such a huge station like that. its almost like having a city out in space, its unbelievable that something like this can exist in only in the 21st century. i wonder how big the station is exactly, in terms of feet/meters.

  • 3:36 when the shuttle first docks and the way everyone greets each other is just so heartwarming. it really gives you the impression that astronauts really have a huge sense of affection, friendship, and appreciation for one another despite being from various places around the world. plus i would imagine after being stuck on the station for so long, being able to see new people after awhile would be a welcome experience.

  • this is probably the most interesting thread of comments ive ever read under any video i have ever watched on youtube. ive spent the past hour reading all the comments ever made under this video. the expression of hope and beauty is such a huge theme on this thread, i wish all threads were like this.

  • so does this mean that other countries will be the only ones to maintain the iss now? will americans keep going into space on foreign space shuttles? its depressing enough to know that the shuttle program has ended but what's even more depressing is the possibility of these new plans to travel to space being a little too ambitious considering america's economic status. i really want to see humans continue their advancement into space but my own country not participating is depressing. :(

  • watching this was such a truly magical experience, he was right when he said that i wouldnt want this video to end. highlight was probably when one astronaut was messing around with a floating globe of water, seeing it happen in real life just reaffirmed the fact that these people were in space. videos like this make you wanna be an astronaut. its sad that this is one of the last shuttle missions by americans, kinda depressing when you think about it. :(

  • the womans afro because of zero gravity hahaha

  • 9:18 "I jump, thats a uran container" ^^

  • @funncubesde sounds more like watch out lol

  • @TheRealSoar but still a uran container XD

  • this is an awesome video. man i would never see or even imagine wot its like inside a space station or the endeavour. well done well done

  • Haha, look at lady's hair at 6:30 :)

  • it kinda looks really messy in there lmao :P

  • lol look at her hair :)

  • at 9:20 are they russians?

  • 11:25 i didnt think that clouds moves so fast on earth when u look from space... am confused

  • I think it is kinda scary how anti-religious many seem to be here. Even though I don't really like the pope, I'm a Christian so it isn't really fun to see everyone babbling about how ´delusional´people like I am. Can't we just watch this great video about Space without comments like that? =/

  • @thetraceur123 Most of the time religious people bring up religion on this video first.

I have no problem with christians, but the pope is definitely a sick individual.

  • @thetraceur123 and no offense..but a lot of christians are sort of delusional in a sense.

  • @AgrivatedKillah I know that some Creationist Christians believe that the Earth is 6000 years old and don't think that mankind and animals have a common descent and stuff like that, but to say that every Christian is like that is very wrong.I am quite anti thinking like that, and there are many Christian scientists who would agree with me there, examples would be Francis Collins, genescist/physician, Karl W Giberson, physicist/scollar, John Polkinghorne former particle physicist, now priest. etc

  • @thetraceur123 most of these scientist you name are too far and between.. most of them aren't religious though.

  • @AgrivatedKillah Don't know what you mean really. Every single one of them are Christians, so you can't say they are not religious. Francis Collins was the leader of the very big Human Genome project which mapped our entire DNA code. Karl Giberson is a Physicist and a Schollar speciallizing in the Creation vs Evolution debate, being on the Evolution side. He is also a Christian and works with Francis Collins to sustain the BioLogos Foundation.

  • @AgrivatedKillah John Polkinghorne is a former Particle Physicist who later became an Anglican priest, he worked along side with the famous astronomer Fred Hoyle for example and is one in forefront in the Religion - Science debate. He is also an Evolutionist and is in a coming documentary about Christianity and Evolution. Francis Collins and many other Christian biologists partly from the BioLogos foundation is also in it. So I don't know what you got that from. Maybe I missunderstood you? Sorry

  • @AgrivatedKillah It is never right to generalize groups of people. Stupid people exist all over the world.

  • @thetraceur123 it just so happens that christians have more of those sort of people.

  • Forza Inter, In space!

  • Better dont be claustrafobic in that suit

  • imagine trying to pass the interview for this job

  • Beautiful and inspiring.

  • "Tell my wife I love her very much. She knows." - Mark Kelly

  • if i were them i would have a tough time trying to figure out which way is up....

although there is no up in space

  • I'm in SPAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACE!

Had to make that reference . . .

  • This is amazing

  • Do not ever mix religion with science and reality. Two completely different things. Great video. Love this channel.

  • Thumbs up for SpaceRip

    Awesome content

  • Amazing. Smiling from start till finish :)

  • Astronauts and bass players are the coolest people.

  • UFO @ 1:58

  • at 03:14 ......is a UFO?

  • @SuperNikolai100 damn aliens are everywhere : ))

  • The most noble and beautiful Humanity Endeavor is the peaceful and cooperative space exploration.

  • iHEARD THE VATICAN HAVE A SAY ON WHAT PICTURES OF SPACE ARE ALLOWED IN THE PUBLIC DOMAIN....IS THAT TRUE?

  • I love this like the popes toilet loves holy craps... ( Bo Burnham )

  • get rid of the pope, old wrinkled pedophile fuck.

  • I got to watch this shuttle launch from my flight home. I gotta say it is the coolest thing I have ever seen in my life and I'm glad that I got to see it before the end.

  • Oh my... this is absolutely incredible.

  • I'm addicted to this channel! SpaceRip you truly rock!! Keep giving us such awesome stuff :)

  • I was about to "Favorite" video and then I remembered the part where the Pope was asking a question to the astronauts... what a waste of their time...

Please, please keep inane Religion related material OUT of what was otherwise an extremely good SCIENCE/Spare exploration related video!

  • Great message from Space to Earth.

  • Comment removed

  • awesome video

  • LOL at everyone greeting eachother in zero gravity. Ahhhh. One can only dream when that becomes a reality for everyone.

  • The whole thing made me cry even before the music started

  • To bad for the fucking pope. He and his organisation has always been a blight on human progress.

  • @Dafariii

    you're an idiot!

  • @amazingme2010

Yes I confess I am an idiot, but not as big an idiot as your "AIDS is bad, but condoms are worse pope", "lets cover up child molestation", "lets kidnap babies", pope/Catholic Church.

  • @Dafariii Certainly the pope is more a politician and 'good ole boy' than anything else, shielding his buddies from criminal charges such as pedophilic rape. And I would be the first to applaud if all churches fell. But do have a look at the good work that Father George Coyne is doing at the Vatican Observatory near Tucson, AZ. He has some wonderful talks on YT. One thing I will grant the Catholic church. They are not monolithic.

  • @Dafariii no he hasn't, capitalism has.

  • omg this video was not at all what i thought it would be. i thought it was gonna be a historical account or something, with boring milestones. but it turned out to be the best seat in the house!

  • Pity NASA don't have the money to keep the Shuttle flying.

  • This is soo amazing...

but I always find myself reading ignorant comments with bad vocabulary in every youtube video...

  • ahhhh space... The new frontier.

  • This is soooooooooo cool! I wonder though, if space is dark, like being in a room with the lights off, how can the astronauts see where they're going?

  • @akamizzT Well when theyre in the sunlight, its brighter than daytime, when they're not, its like a starry night.

  • 7:40 just casually floating towards the best view any living being on Earth has ever seen in 4 and half billion years... tough gig.

  • @DougieBarclay its funny cause humans didnt exist until about 100 thousand years ago so 4 and a half billion years is when the earth formed :P long before any life was spawned but I see what your talking bout :P

  • 3:14 ufo to the right of the shuttle

  • 2:19 guy in the NASA shirt looks like Leonard from Big bang theory xD

  • I will work my ass of to be an astronaut .

  • Wow, really a unique insight into what life in space is about.

  • This was, simply put, amazing.

  • Pope asking for peace ??? WTF is he doing for peace???

  • @tutoriales3minutos well... he's asking for it...

  • Yes, conspiracy theorists, it's a coverup... the shuttle launch was just for effect. Instead of actually going into orbit they parked the shuttle round the corner and chilled in starbucks for a while... had a latte, faked a little zero g cgi on a laptop... I thought the bit where he washed his face in zero g water was particularly good...

    FFS!

  • 6 people is an alien saw this video think about that too much tech than alien tech

  • @BravestonerRob What a retard.

  • @BravestonerRob Jeezzz... If someone had told me I would read a comment like yours in 2011, I would never have believed. Wow.... just wow...

  • @BravestonerRob try going out tonight and place yourself under a streetlight. do you see any stars when you look up iin the sky? No, you say? I thought so...

  • @BravestonerRob O...M...G! Are you for real????

  • @BravestonerRob Wow, amazingly ignorant.

  • @BravestonerRob Cant tell if troll, or just very stupid...

  • @225USAboy betting he is both.

  • These guys have the best job.

  • Such a great vid. I didn't want this to end. Thanks!

  • i agree with NeoLPZC the pope messed this beautiful video up...amazing views

  • @ProjectDecade OK Sport, I admit I know about as much about space as you do about HUNGER! COLD! DESPERATION!

  • love the hair in zero gravity

  • I want to go to space sooo bad! It looks so amazing!

  • @CodCats CodCats, I hope then u r studying MATH, so u can get through science & engineering.

  • @Jibbie49 I am! :D

  • ok I have to admit, I'm jealous

  • wow, such teamwork and companionship

  • I'd like to be the first human to masturbate in zero gravity.

  • Ugh, can you guys release an edit WITHOUT the Pope dirtying up an otherwise fantastic video?

  • @NoeLPZC don't mind the trolls. Let them live with their beliefs and alcoholic messiah. :)

  • they use windows PC's in space

  • Im glad ,nobody is heart, good job guys

    nice vid

  • How the hell can the fly around without bumping into random hatches and buttons that might cause the whole thing to self-destruct?!

  • @Raewi probably because they dont have a self destruct button there,

  • @lhtrf Oh.. Because I'm like.. Everything on the panels on the inside looks insanely important

  • @Raewi the switches/buttons/hatches that would cause total failure of the whole station are probably locked away good, that would make sense in a project that costs shit tons of money from every american citizens pocket to invest an extra couple of dollars on locks for them :P

  • @lhtrf Still.. You'd atleast expect them to hide things away if they mean anything at all >.>

  • @Raewi That too, they probably aren't in the open but behind a locked door where the camera isn't allowed :P

  • Can the most obese person in the world float there? Or they will be on the ground?

  • @MichaelJacksonFan000 If there is no gravity anything can float. Unless it's magnetic but I don't think obese people are any more magnetic than regular people :)

  • @MichaelJacksonFan000 they would float. Moon with its 73400000000000000000 tons floats just fine and i doubt you'll find someone fatter than that :)

  • 6:49

Nice hair! Doesn't NASA have a rubber band?

  • The Russian segment looks pretty crappy.

  • Pope trolling! WTF!

  • @SpaceRip i have a question ....how they solve the hygiene problems? ....like you know pee/poop/washing and cleaning ?

  • Brought a tear to my eye when it showed the Earth at about the 8 min mark ^_^

  • i have the same PC wallpaper as the space station. nice.

  • LoL @ Katies hair in weightlesness ;]]

  • freaking MAGNETIC!!!

  • 10th of a g

  • all religion is bullshit! it is slowing down technology! thumbs up if you want religion gone!

  • @ChinnuWoW

You`re painfully unfunny plus askin for thumbs up is just pathetic. And FYI its not religion but wasting money and resources on wars is slowing down technology, space exploration and general progress.

  • @zly81 penis

  • @ChinnuWoW

Ye ye ye, I bet you would even suck one for some thumbs up, lol

  • @zly81 no i get it sucked by ur mom

  • @ChinnuWoW

Being a thick nerd you will never get it sucked by anyone, face it boy.
