hey i see you have the 6cd changer rocford and i just got that part from the dealer and it wont work bc theres already wires in the spots i need to insert do they sell sumthin else for the standard audio system?
so I'm a girl and have no idea what the guy in the video is doing, but i have an 07 eclipse. I just want to know if my car has an aux input bc i know it has the aux setting, but i cant find the input. I hope that doesnt sound dumb lol
By default it has no Aux, you have to install this cable. Your best bet if you don't feel up to doing it youself, is to have the dealership install one for you.
This is the only way with the 06 thru 08. Not sure about the 09. There is also an iPod adapter available, but it's kind costly. But seriously the installation wasn't that much of a big deal. You could have a mitsu dealer install it, but I don't know what they would charge. There is a full write-up on my forum.

@aperez1214, i have an 06, the aux jack is behind the stereo in the dash, you have to go to the dealer to get a part installed to enable it

They charge $99 for the install and 21.95 for the part. If you could install it yourself then it's best to take that route.
