Actually, tennis requires far more endurance than football or rugby. You can have one of possibly five sets in tennis take up the time of a whole rugby or football match. And in tennis you're always running around whereas in the other two because you're in a team half the time you're just walking. You have to also be very strong to be able to accelerate so quickly and to be consistently serving easily over 100mph.
