Everyone who has set foot on this earth (bar one) has been hypocritical at some point in their lives. It is part of being human, that doesn't make it right, it's just in our human nature. As for the rapture, I agree with everything the bible says, I'm not saying you have to believe everything that I do by the way.
I believe it's not the rapture that will damn you...it's NOT BELIEVING IN JESUS CHRIST AND WHAT HE DID FOR YOU. If you don't want to accept it, then that's your business, not mine.

Jesus Christ did nothing for me. Although he probably existed, he was not the son of god. Cause there is no god. So why would I believe in a bronze age myth ? Do you beleive in Perseus, Thor, the sun gods of Egypt ? No ? Do you beleive that only by following the teachings of Muhammed that you will gain everlasting life ? No me neither.
I just don't beleive in your faith either.

Like I said before, I'm not saying you have to believe everything (or anything for that matter) that I do, but if there is no God, could you please tell me how we as a human race got here! The only real alternatives are that we got here by Aliens or we evolved from a piece of slime millions of years ago. I respect your right to believe either of these though. I won't start swearing at you just because you don't agree with me. When you say Jesus didn't do anything for you, ever tried to find out?

For what it's worth, I believe we evolved from slime. That there is no "reason" for us to be here (that's the bit that a lot of people with faith seem to struggle with.)

I have read and re read the Bible
Read the Koran and parts of the Talmud. Looked into Shintoism, Hindhuism (and by connection with Buddha - Buddhism).
After a lot of reading and thinking I came to my personal conclusion.
I see blind faith as a curse, destroying progress and blinding reason.

If you consider belief in Jesus Christ blind faith, then what do you call belief in evolution? I believe it takes more faith to believe in the incredible things we see in nature coming together perfectly & miraculously & by pure chance from a bunch of unorganised gases to perfectly form even the simplest forms of life that the world's best minds can't understand or replicate. You say that people who have religous beliefs are hypoctites, but evolution is one of the biggest religions out there.

Evolution is one of the fastest dying beliefs. People are leaving it in droves as they can see it just doesn't ad up. I know heaps who have stopped believing in it. Evolutionists say it is true science, but science is "proven, observed fact". Know any 100 million yr old scientists who have actually seen these changes happen? When people hear the word christian, they have been brainwashed into thinking "biblebashing-hypocrite" but if we would follow the Jesus of the bible, not the worlds version!

By the "worlds version" I mean you've gotto either go to church or mass, say 25 hail Mary's, pray to Mary, take holy communion, do this, do that, not have any fun, look down your nose at those who don't believe what you do, get sprinkled when you're a baby, try and be a good person...all this to get to Heaven. That's got nothing to do with the simple things God asks us to do in the Bible. I know you've read the bible heaps, you can read it till the cows come home but faith (not blind)is the key.
