The movie was very good to me. Tim Burton did a wonderful job returning Batman to his darker roots in film. A lot of young people don't get that and have been spoiled by the wonderful Chris Nolan films. Michael Keaton's Batman wasn't perfect but at the time, that was the first time the mainstream public saw Batman as a dark brooding badass outside the comics. Jack Nicholson's take on the Joker as a murdering cold blooded thug gone completely insane was down right chilling at times.

I agree completly i think a lot of people condem jack because he wasn't as crazy as ledger but being bat shit crazy doesn't define the joker although it was very cool
