the one thing i don't understand is how you do the consecutive quick attacks. are they simply consecutive quick attack cancels into the ground? or is it a completely different technique?
Pikachu is not necessarily male (I read your description). Each and every individual PokéMon whose sex is not officially disclosed is simply referred to as "it".
how exactly would you set up the wiimote and numchuk combo to do this since i dont have a gamecube controller or classic so plz message me back it would really help
Nice. Any trick to this? Once you get the enemy onto the ground, and you QA them, do you do the QA in a back and forth manner than repeat? Or do you for whatever reason do individual QAs. Maybe this is obvious, but I'd appreciate a response :)
Control: I was using my classic controller so I can have my right thumb on both the Y and B buttons with my left thumb on the control stick. The same effect should be reproducible on a Gamecube controller with X set to Special.
Action: I moved my left thumb in an arc shape on the Control stick (Lower Left, Up, Lower Right, Up) while alternating button presses between B and Y. That made Pikachu perform a Quick Attack Cancel, jump from it, and do another in the opposite direction.
Sounds complicated, I'll have to practice. From my understand QACing is simply hitting the ground with your QA. Wouldn't QA Jumping be a jump right after you hit the ground and stall for a brief second?Maybe I'm wrong.
Never the less, I'll have to practice when I get home later today. BTW, I use a gamecube remote. Couldn't I simply do this with the B set to Special (default). Also, I was thinking... this could be made even simpler with b-sticking so that ^C-stick = QA. Gotta test some things.

All description inaccuracies aside, this is a great demonstration of an advanced technique.

Play Pokemon Diamond/Pearl/Platinum (when it comes out). That, or look for the Pikachu sprites. There's a flawless way to prove Pikachu's a guy now.

You should delete some of these comments.
Nobody wants to read the arguments being made with ObviousTroll & others.
You should delete them, and just leave comments that actually have something to do with the video.

ObviousTroll#3, your name explains it.
Why would you say those idiotic things? YOU need to get a life and stop bothering us for no reason.

On average, how long does the QAC necessary for this lock take to master?
Fisherington 3 years ago
Varies. Some just take to it like an eagle to the skies. Others take to it like an eagle to a brick wall. All I can say is practice.

do you use the b-stick for your attack?

No, C-Stick is too important to me for Smashes.

how did you do it so fast?
i can do the quick attack lock on a good day(i managed to get up to 13)
reimeii 3 years ago
I did it at normal speed, the camera just recorded things wrong and hyperspeeded the video at random points.
13's about the same amount that I did in the video.

Can't do it with Wiimote, I think. You need diagonal inputs.
