  • and she is married to Steve Earle - another genius at this craft.

  • Wahnsinn!

  • Allison dedicated this to Amy Winehouse at the Minneapolis show last Friday - particularly painful and poignant

  • @sandbergp awesome

  • love this so much!

  • Personally, im a heavy metal fan to the core but there are a few singers from different genre's that I absolutley, Alisson is ontop of that list. Her voice, her words, her music is so true, raw, and honest. This, by far, is one of the beautifulest song i've ever heard. It's so simple yet so dynamic.

  • wonderful

  • saw her on the Tonight Show and really liked the song. The song reminds me of my beautiful niece Irene who's parents at this time are separating. She's having a hard time adjusting right now but I know she'll be fine as long as she knows she's not alone and that she is loved very much. It's nice to know that there are songs like this one on the radio to remind us how much we may be needed by other people who may be going through a hard time. I love you very much Irene. Your uncle Patrick .

  • she is amazing and the lyrics to this song speak to me.

  • wow. and this isn't even my favorite from the new album. . . every track is amazing.

  • What a phenomenal talent. And she has such a nice personality too!

  • I love it! <3

  • To answer guilderoylockhart's question, I think it's because she doesn't play in the style that I call "Kiddie Kountry," such as Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus, Rascal Flatts, Etc. You know the kind I mean; overproduced pop music that appeals to the 12-24 year-old crowd. That is the crap that sells CD's, or more recently, iTunes downloads.

  • What an amazing songwriter...and that voice!!! Perfect example why American Idol is a goddamn joke. She's a true artist.

  • Been a huge fan of this wonderful singer for as long as I can remember. Beautiful voice and gorgeous to boot. A hundred times more talented than the artists topping the charts these days. Never sold herself out is my guess why she's not a superstar. "Break before I bend" is an apt song of hers to describe her attitude. She'd rather write and perform songs true to herself than sell a million copies of crap. Good for you Allison!... Steve Earle is a lucky man.

  • Why is this girl not a superstar?

  • brilliant song...

  • Gina, Very nice. smooth as silk. Bravo
