( RE: SMOKING BAN ) We went to see Avril Lavigne at the Borgata Casino Atlantic City NJ. Great show. Event Center is a fine venue for concerts. Avril was supposed to host at Borgata's club mer.mer, but she was a no-show. Can't really blame her. What the hell is the deal with the smoking? We thought the state of NJ banned that crap. Seemed like everywhere we turned some scumbag was blowing their diseased smoke into the air. The smoking made the night disgusting and vile. Thank you for listening.

Ah yes, the bumpy ride on the #2 Jitney bus! I take that ride everyday on my way to work at Borgata. BTW the neighborhood is locaaly known as Back Maryland because the main street you're riding on is North Maryland Ave. Kids in that section also call it 800 Block, formerly Lil' Bucktown when it was a red zone for gun violence in the 90's. Officially the entire area, including the casinos there, is called the Marina District. Just a little local history from a local town boy.
