If that's your first effort, it's very commendable. For a second locomotive (if you haven't by now obtained it), I would have thought a short tender engine would be OK. A Churchward Mogul or a Collett Goods would be ideal for handling your freight traffic.

@GJChurchward thanks for your thoughts on a 2nd loco, i know what the collett goods looks like , i going to look up the churchward, i sold this layout, i am now building a long one, so i can run more, the 1st layout was not able to move much, this one will go along a 2nd wall, when i done a bit more i will put up a video, regards
